Family getaway

If your priority is the beach and relaxation this is a great place. Will need to use car for restaurants and activities, golf cart won't be advantageous unless you want to just cruise up-and-down Scenic drive. Enjoyed the property, would definitely stay there again.

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were 8 of us total; my family of 4 with 2 kiddos, so we took the bedroom with the bunk, my mom and dad and my grandma and grandpa. We had plenty of room, and enjoyed the quick walk over to the beach.

Great condo, perfect location

This condo had the perfect amount of space for all our guests! Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom! Equipped with everything you need. The ice maker doesn’t work and there isn’t an ice maker on the property. Wish we would’ve brought an ice maker from home. Lots of beach toys and chairs!! Great views!! Pool and hot tubs were perfect when we weren’t at the beach.

Great home right on the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Magestic Sun 414! There were 7 adults and 2 children that stayed in this condo and it was the perfect size. This was our 4th time staying at the Majestic Sun and love the location.The home was clean, updated decor and had plenty of kitchen items. Nice, big table in the dining area as well as a bar...plenty of seating inside. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys. Location is perfect....not right in the middle of Destin, but easy access to shopping (skip Walmart and hit up the Winn Dixie right down the street). Also a short walk across the street to the beach. Very nice to have pool access as well.The only things I would suggest adding to the condo...a few more wash cloths in each bathroom, a table outside so you can sit outside to eat or lounge chairs would be nice as well. Those are such minor things, I would have no problem staying in this condo was really nice! Loved our week here!A few more suggestions of places to go: Boshamps is a MUST, but go early...we've missed it previous years because of the long wait...we went at 430 this year and the wait was minimal. Beignets and Brews down the street was good for breakfast, coffee. McGuires is another must for lunch/dinner. Also Crab Island is a nice 1/2 day trip. We've done it both with a captain and chartering our own boat. If we were going for a full day we'd charter our own boat again, but when you have little kids a 1/2 day is plenty (we always like the morning) and having someone charter for us is nice so we don't have to navigate out in the middle of the day.

First annual willows beach trip

The accommodations were very nice and spacious. Loved the balcony over looking the beach and the location to restaraunts was great. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside if there was one would be the check in time. 4 pm is pretty late and we got there at a little before noon as it didn't take as long as we expected. When I asked if we could check in early I was told not unless I paid the $75 fee. Now I understand that fee if I arranged it ahead because they pat the staff the come early to clean but the unit was ready when we arrived so It would have been nice to have been able to check in early without paying the fee. We ended up paying to get in early and we did enjoy our stay.

When this is arranged in advance, these units are cleaned first and the guests are able to get their vacation started a bit earlier. Beautiful view!

The view was beautiful from the room. Room could use more attention to upkeep. Master bedroom ceiling fan light didn’t work. Loose plugs in bedrooms making lamps flicker. Ceiling fan in one room did not work on high requiring a box fan in that room because it was hot in there. Dishwasher was broke during whole stay so had to hand wash dishes which worked better anyway due to there not being enough dishes or silverware for a party of ten. Also party of ten needs more towels than one a piece and washcloths had to be shared because we were only given six total. Dryer didn’t work well either. Had to run each batch at least twice, sometimes 3 times. Other than being warm in condo and constantly washing dishes and towels, we enjoyed our stay. Was nice to just walk across the street to the beach.
