We welcome you to relax and enjoy uninterrupted views of the Bay of Banderas from the comfort and luxury of our Mexican Hacienda-style Hillside Villa: Casa del Quetzal. Unwind, feel the breeze, and take in the beauty of the ocean, mountains, and jungle views.
About the Villa: Casa del Quetzal offers 5 air-conditioned bedroom suites, each with an ensuite bathroom, several inviting common areas, and a heated 35-ft infinity pool. Our suites have been just renovated and upgraded by the architect who originally built the villa. The results are stunning and include two ensuites designed to accommodate guests with mobility issues.
Occupancy: We accommodate a maximum of 10 adults in the villa. Inquire about our in-house apartment to increase the maximum up to 12 adults. All suites have a king-size bed. However, two air mattresses are available for those who prefer not to share beds.
Services Included: Our rates include the services of a chef, butler, and housekeeper from Monday to Saturday. Each day, our gourmet chef will prepare two exquisite meals with presentation and flavors comparable to a high-end restaurant.
For your convenience, we will connect you with a reliable concierge company to assist with services not provided by the villa, such as transportation, spa treatments, and tours.

Cancellation Policy:
• 100% refund of the amount paid if canceled at least 30 days before check-in.
• 50% refund of the amount paid (minus the service fee) if canceled at least 14 days before check-in.
• No refund for cancellations less than 14 days before check-in. Free cancellation deadlines are based on the property's time zone.
Additional Costs:
1. Food and Beverages: The cost is a pass-through expense to be paid directly to the chef upon presentation of receipts.
2. Grocery Shopping Fee: To ensure the highest quality meals, our chef sources fresh ingredients from multiple markets. A daily $40 USD grocery shopping fee paid directly to the chef applies.
3. Staff Availability on Sundays and Holidays: There is no staff service on Sundays or Mexican Holidays. Chef and waitressing services can be arranged for an additional fee, paid directly to the staff.
4. Personal Laundry: A fee for personal laundry services is to be paid directly to the maid.
Damage and Incidentals: A $1,200 USD security deposit is required. Guests are responsible for any damage to the property caused during their stay.

House Rules:
• Check-In/Out: Check-in after 3:00 p.m.; Check-out before 11:00 a.m.
• Maximum Occupancy: No more than 10 adults in the villa. Inquire about the apartment option for up to 12 adults.
• Smoking: No smoking in living areas.
• Drug Use: Illicit or non-prescription controlled substances are strictly prohibited.
• Visitors:
o Up to 4 casual visitors are allowed at a time. More than 4 visitors is considered a special event and incurs an additional fee equivalent to one night’s rent.
o Casual visitors are not permitted to stay overnight.
• Illegal Activities: Casa del Quetzal is our family’s second home. Illegal activities, including prostitution, are not tolerated. If this rule is broken, guests will be asked to leave immediately without reimbursement, and the authorities may be notified. The security deposit will be forfeited.
• Quiet Hours: From 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Casa del Quetzal is located in a residential neighborhood with many full-time residents. Noise complaints from neighbors or authorities may result in forfeiture of the $1,200 USD security deposit.
