The perfect little cabin with good creature comforts and proximity to town, but a real off-grid feeling. Beautiful views! Clean. We plan to visit again!

Very dirty, had to clean bathtub before we could use it. Dirty clothes in washer. Dishes were dirty. Coffee pot was dirty. Water stunk like rotten eggs and no pressure. Rats.
Loved the rural location of the cabin - it was clean and neat on arrival. Very cozy - had wished we brought wood for the fireplace. Scenery was beautiful and saw a variety of birds and wildlife. It’s not a fancy place but it’s solid and we felt very at home there. Hope to go back again and just salary and chill without going out to visit sights.
Solace, Peaceful, Rustic.......Perfect!
A remote rustic cabin. The perfect place to unplug. If you need luxury amenities pass, if you need to totally get away this is your place. Wish it was mine!
Beautiful place to stay if you love being away from everything. Exactly what you see in the booking. We enjoyed the covered back porch and cooked every meal in the kitchen. Great Communication for any questions. We will be back again in the summer!

Just what we needed
Private, quiet, scenic. Cabin in well stocked and cozy. If you are looking for a place to truly get away this is it! No cell service! What a blessing. You do have dish TV if needed.

The cabin was clean and exactly what we wanted for a quick weekend getaway. But the yard was horrible, nothing a lawnmower wouldn't handle. Had to walk though tall weeds to get to the cabin. If the yard was mowed and air freshener or candles to cover up the sulfur smell from the well water, the cabin would be the perfect getaway.
If you want to get away from everything… this is the place to go. Definitely no cel service!!! The only issue is the smell of the water. That is the only complaint.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and a rare chance to escape the kiddos. We wanted something remote, quiet, and cozy. It checked all boxes! Love the outside patio with lights for evenings, and the thoughtfulness of providing towels, shampoo, etc. We will definitely be back! The ONLY thing is the jet tub needs a tiny bit of love, the jets themselves sometimes pop out but it’s an easy fix. We didn’t have any signal, but for us that was a pro! So, so relaxing and a chance to reconnect with nature and each other without distractions.
Had a problem with mice. At night they would be in the kitchen. They were eating the coffee cups and made a huge mess. We noticed the opened coffee cups when we arrived so I cleaned and sanitized the whole kitchen. We had to bring our trash home with us because there wasn’t anywhere to put it.
The directions say there is a lockbox. There is not, and we had to drive 7 minutes back to town to have cell signal to find out how to enter the cabin. No previous reviews had mentioned that there was no cell signal there. The unit was over 90 degrees inside as no one turned on AC prior to arrival. We turned it on at 5:30pm and had to leave three hours for it to cool enough to be inside. It wasn't cool enough to sleep comfortably until midnight. The sink was filthy with rust and lime. The shower barely works and the water smelled so strong of sulfur that we had to leave again after using it. There was laundry in both the washer and dryer when we arrived. The road is extremely rough. Think twice about it unless you have a jeep or pickup truck. The bed was uncomfortable. My wife had to sleep on the couch. There were wasps and dirt dobbers all over both porches, athough wasp killer was provided. It's a peaceful setting and the creek nearby is a plus.
This property is excellent for those who want privacy and quiet. It was very clean and furnished with all the everything you need. There is no cell phone or internet but wasn’t a big issue for us. The only complaint I had was the bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped. I have back issues and wasn’t able to rest very well. But overall I would recommend this property. Also it is down a mountain and a dirt road. The road was ok just a little rough but not bad at all
