You will have to walk 600 feet from the parking lot to your home. 2 free parking spaces are offered with the rental of your accommodation.

The wood-heated spa is open during the winter season for an exceptional experience! The Mélilot includes a beautiful large bedroom on a mezzanine accessible by a staircase. The mezzanine ends with a catamaran net where you can rest with a good book watching the river. There is also the possibility of sleeping on the net or next to it by adding a second memory foam queen mattress. Perfect for a couple of lovers or a small family since there are 2 open concept queen beds, there is the possibility of sleeping up to 6 guests since there is a sofa bed but the tiny house is not suitable for 4 adults.

This luxurious shack has a well-equipped kitchen including 2 propane burners as well as a small refrigerator including a freezer. You will have access to all the utensils, cutlery, plates, fondue kit, kitchen bowls to concoct a meal of choice. A barbecue is also available for your grills. In the morning, you can enjoy excellent coffee thanks to a Nespresso machine. (One Nespresso capsule per day and per adult is included)

The Mélilot also contains a full bathroom with a shower and a luxurious compostable toilet. The 288 square foot micro-house includes linens, towels and washcloths for the shower. Being an ecological accommodation, dish soap, shampoo, body and hand soap are provided during the rental! We use ''Pure'' ecological products including safe ingredients for health.

The owners wanted to offer you luxury in the forest while being ecological! Solar panels will provide you with your daily energy! There are fans in the Mélilot but no air conditioning. On the other hand, since it is located near a river in a valley surrounded by trees, a mild temperature is present all year round.

Quiet & Serene

Amazing experience tucked away from everything. Patrick and Vicky were more than willing to help with everything we needed during our stay. Super cute and a great place to unplug for a couple days!

Winter wonderland

I was greeted by Patrick at the entrance, and right off the bat I felt so welcome! We grabbed a sled for the bags because there was mountains of snow, and he showed me down to the cabin. The path was beautiful, all covered in snow, pine trees everywhere, it was like we were on our way to Santa's workshop. The cabin was incredibly warm and cozy, lots of good vibes with heaters and the fireplace. I really love the net/hammock in the second floor, it was my nap space every day. Soaking in the hot tub with all the snow coming down was a very special and relaxing, especially with the stream rushing by right there. I enjoyed the location, not hard to find, but far enough away from any populated areas, so you get the feeling of being away from it all. There is a nice bakery about a 15 minute drive, and some grocery stores to stock up cause you won't want to leave once you get there. Patrick and Vicky are very responsive and incredibly friendly. I even got a snow mobile ride back up the hill on my last day, and they gave me fresh eggs from the chickens on property. I would summarize the experience as cozy, rustic, and peaceful. Thank you guys for the memorable stay, it was the highlight of my travels across Qubeck!

A fantastic, peaceful place to reconnect - a small stream flowing out the main window, the quiet of winter, wood crackling in the stove, natural beauty all around - Mont Valin’s snowshoe just down the road….
