A very pretty and well equipped gite in lovely grounds and a very welcoming host. You are really in the middle of rural France but a 10 minute drive into Mirande with shops, restaurants and supermarkets. It is ideally placed for visiting places across Gers, which is such a beautiful and unspoilt region of France. There are lovely walks from the gite as well as the lake in Mirande.

Winter opening into Spring

Annie was the perfect hostess, very helpful. She knows the area and can recommend places to visit, things to see, hikes to take. Annie’s place is in the country as such, the sounds are generally of nature - as such there is such beauty here. The grounds of the property are wonderful, lots of gardens and place to walk to or picnic at. Overall, our long stay with Annie was wonderful in every way we could have wanted. We would do it again!

Nice gite in quiet countryside

We visited this area as a base for house hunting and was just what we needed. Nicely furnished and decorated, comfortable beds, a very toastie bathroom and a well appointed kitchen (although they could do with a kettle). All in all a good spot to stay for a visit to this region.

A warm welcome in the heart of the Gers

This is a lovely spot in the heart of the beautiful Gers countryside. The house is decorated to a very high standard and was a comfortable haven for our family of four. We were impressed by the warm welcome the owners gave us and the obvious care and attention they put into the property. The outside space is fantastic and there are lots of comfy spots to relax, eat or spend time together. Highly recommended.
