The squirrel cottage is a 4-star tourist accommodation with private heated swimming pool from June to September (from June 2019). The cottage is comfortable allowing stays with family or friends, ideal for lovers of hiking.

Located in the heart of the Vosges du Nord natural park in Alsace Moselle, in Sturzelbronn near Bitche and Niederbronn-les-Bains.
The gite of the squirrel allows you to explore the tourist sites of the Pays de Bitche and to radiate to Strasbourg, Sturzelbronn being the link between Alsace and Lorraine and between France and Germany .
Treat yourself to a breath of fresh air in the middle of the great natural expanses of the Vosges du Nord Park.
The 4 star cottage style cottage nestled in the heart of the forest is located in a sublime setting.

Borrowed from nature and history, this place will offer you all the calm necessary for a guaranteed well-being stay.

The villa is located in a quality environment: for 6 people, 3 bedrooms, functional kitchen, full household equipment, 1 bathroom, terrace and balcony, large living room, neat interior furnishings.
The layout of the vacation rental is totally geared towards your well-being and the private tree-lined garden with its private swimming pool will provide an idyllic setting for your relaxation.

Lovely quiet location with fantastic views. The pool and jacuzzi were the icing on the cake. Sept was quite cool for the pool but sitting in the jacuzzi in the evening with the view was bliss.

Pracht locate, van bijna alle gemakken voorzien. Serene rust verstoord door langdurig luide kerkklokken om 06.00 uur. Huis prima evenals bijna onzichtbare onderhoud zwembad en tuin.

Sehr schön und entspannend

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm und ruhig. Das Haus hat eine gute Ausstattung, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Direkt vor der HaustĂŒre liegt der Wald, was perfekt fĂŒr Wanderungen ist. Der Garten ist schön und lĂ€dt an Pool und Whirlpool zum Verweilen ein. Die Vermieter Sabine und Didier sind sehr zuvorkommend und wĂ€ren im Fall der FĂ€lle immer ansprechbar. Wir hatten hier eine ruhige und sehr angenehme Auszeit .

Alles war perfekt!

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefĂŒhlt. FĂŒr uns als begeisterte Fahrradfahrerinnen waren die schöne Landschaft und die verkehrsarmen Strassen einfach ideal. Das Haus bot viel Platz und war mit den beiden Balkonen fĂŒr jedes Wetter angenehm. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit, die Hilfsbereitschaft und die sorgsame Pflege des Gartens und des Pools. Vielen dank. Wir können uns gut einen weiteren Aufenthalt in diesem friedlichen Dorf vorstellen.

Toller Urlaub

Super entspannter Urlaub. Total ruhig. Kirchenglocken und Vögelgezwitscher waren die meisten GerĂ€usche. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man wandern gehen. Pool und Wirlpool laden zum Entspannen ein. Wir wurden sehr freundlich auf deutsch empfangen. Betten waren gemacht und HandtĂŒcher lagen beteit. Selbst eine Flasche Sekt gab es zum Empfang und Knabbersach sowie verschiedene GetrĂ€nke. Das Haus ist schön und persönlich eingerichtet. WĂŒrde jeder Zeit wieder hin gehen.

Perfekter Urlaub fĂŒr Ruhesuchende und Naturliebhaber!

Wir können uns allen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Die ĂŒberdachte Terrasse konnte man wunderbar fĂŒr gemeinsame Mahlzeiten und Spieleabende (auch bei Regen, den hatten wir in 2 Wochen nur einmal!) nutzen. Als eine unserer Luftmatratzen fĂŒr den von uns viel genutzten, sehr gepflegten Pool kaputt ging, brachte uns Didier am nĂ€chsten Tag eine neue. Sabine und Didier liegt das Wohl ihrer GĂ€ste am Herzen. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir möchten also Danke sagen fĂŒr einen traumhaft ruhigen und erholsamen Familienurlaub im schönen Sturzelbronn!

Tolles Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Supersauber, gemĂŒtlich, wunderschöne Gegend

Alles in allem ein superschönes, gemĂŒtliches, kleines HĂ€uschen mit genug Platz fĂŒr sechs Erwachsene. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, wir haben den Abend im Whirlpool sehr genossen. Die Betten waren bereits bezogen, es gab einen kleinen Willkommens-Trunk, und das Haus war frisch durch gelĂŒftet und beheizt worden. Das Eichhörnchenthema der Einrichtung hat uns besonders gefallen. Die Gegend ist absolut wundervoll, sanfte, waldige HĂŒgel, geprĂ€gt von viel Geschichte, sehr netten Leute und Natur pur. Der naheliegende Luchsfelsen lĂ€dt zu einer kurzen Wanderung ein, welche wir direkt mit einer grĂ¶ĂŸeren Runde um Sturzelbronn herum verbunden haben. Die Wanderwege fanden wir grandios, nicht zu schwierig, nicht zu leicht. Außerdem nicht zu viele breit ausgebaute Forststraßen sondern mehr engere Pfade, die auch etwas Outdoor-Survival-Romantik aufkommen lassen. Nicht geeignet fĂŒr RollstĂŒhle oder Kinderwagen, aber welcher Wanderweg ist das schon, außerdem hatten wir das Problem selbst nicht. Außerdem sehr zu empfehlen das ortsansĂ€ssige Restaurant (Au Relais des Bois), Hervorragendes Essen, eine gute Auswahl an Weinen, nette, familiĂ€re AtmosphĂ€re und zu moderaten Preisen (ungefĂ€hr 250€ fĂŒr 6 Personen bei Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Dessert, Wein und Wasser). Das Restaurant war auf jeden Fall eines der tĂ€glichen Highlights, auf das wir uns abends wirklich schon gefreut haben. Der Check-In Vorgang lief vollkommen Kontaktlos, den Check-Out haben wir aus eigenem Anlass dann persönlich bei Didier durchgezogen (an dieser Stelle nochmal vielen Dank!). Es lief alles reibungslos, stressfrei und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit, deshalb auch die anstandslosen fĂŒnf Sterne!

Une excellente semaine

Nous avons passĂ© d excellentes vacances, la maison est trĂšs confortable, nous n avons manquĂ© de rien, Magnifique jardin avec sa piscine chauffĂ©e et son jacuzzi situĂ© au coeur de la nature. Les hĂŽtes nous ont trĂšs bien accueilli. Je recommande vivement cette location aux familles, aux ami(e)s en quĂȘte de dĂ©tente, de calme et de nature et je n' ai qu une hĂąte pouvoir y retourner.

Vacances ressourçantes

2 semaines passĂ©es dans ce gĂźte tout confort. La mĂ©tĂ©o de la premiĂšre semaine plutĂŽt mitigĂ©e nous a permis de visiter les diffĂ©rents musĂ©es et points d’interĂȘt de la rĂ©gion et ils sont nombreux ! Le seconde semaine nettement plus clĂ©mente nous a permis d’arpenter les chemins de randonnĂ©e du parc rĂ©gional des Vosges du nord et c’est un pur rĂ©gal ! Une magnifique dĂ©couverte confortĂ©e par la gentillesse des habitants de la rĂ©gion.

Prima vakantiehuis, gastvrije hosts. Huis is zeer rustig gelegen en is zeer schoon.Helaas maar 1 badkamer/ wc, echt te weinig voor 5 personen. Oubollige inrichting in woonkamer en keuken. Goede bedden. Jammer dat je vanuit de keuken niet rechtstreeks de tuin in kunt, je moet via de voordeur rondom het huis lopen om bij t zwembad en terras te komen.
