About this property

Cottage at Bruce Peninsula National Park and Lake Huron to live with the nature

Private, peaceful 1000 sq ft, 3+1 bedroom cottage (STA permit NBP-2021-514) located on Porcupine Point, on Dorcas Bay, Lake Huron. Nestle into this cottage, tucked among the cedars, to enjoy your break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The area along the shoreline has been left natural, but you can make your way along the grasses and vegetation to the shore. The shoreline itself is made up of flat rock and rubble. Entry is gradual with deeper water the further out you go for good swimming opportunities. There is a small sitting deck near the shoreline with 2 Muskoka chairs. Have your favorite drink under the sun while watching your kids kayaking. Also enjoy the beautiful sunset and capture the memorable moments with your camera.
The cottage is just a 15 minute drive into the village of Tobermory where you can walk along the scenic harbor front, eat in the restaurants, shop at the local stores, and take boat cruises out on the water. Visit Bruce Peninsula National Park and hike the trails to see what you can discover!Booking starting from Saturday.

Beautiful location
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It had everything we needed. We especially loved how quite it was around the cottage and how reasonably close/central it was to the sites we wanted to visit. Host was super responsive, respecful and even surprised us with a nice welcome gift uppon our arrival. We all slept ok but could all argue that the bed mattresses were not the most comfortable. We would still absolutely recommend the spot.

Lovely stay
We loved this property for its seclusion but proximity to all the parks/beaches we wanted to visit. Excellent communications with the host. Swimming off the shore, kayaking around the bay, comfortable lodging. All very nice and easy. We will def consider staying here again. Cheers.

Excellent Stay
Beautiful surroundings. Boardwalk led out to a sitting area where we could watch the sunset. The nearby town of Tobermory was quaint with plenty of shops, restaurants, and a pretty harbor. The house was very clean and worked out well for the 5 of us.
