Great Family Vacation

We enjoyed our second stay at this beautiful Sauble Beach property! Close walk to the beach, and equally close to the Main Street. Comfortable accommodations, fully stocked kitchen. The firepit area in the back is perfect for evening campfires too!

Our stay at Marley Cottage was memorable. The layout of the cottage allowed for everyone to have their own space but the common area was big enough for everyone to be together. We especially enjoyed the karaoke machine. The cottage had everything you might need to relax & enjoy a week at the beach.

We just finished an amazing week at the Marley cottage. We had a group of 11 ranging from 4 to 81 years old and we all enjoyed our stay! Perfect location (close to beach and main strip but far enough away that it’s quiet), clean and provides all the essentials. Naomi and Peter were great hosts, with quick and clear communication. Would definitely return and recommend!

Excellent time at a lovely cottage

We spent 4 nights with a toddler and 5 adults and had an excellent time. The cottage is spacious, modern, and extremely well equipped, we were all very comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. The outdoor shower was very appreciated! The beach is a short walk away (and doable for a 2 year old). Would love to stay again!

Loved our stay at Sauble Beach

We were visiting Sauble Beach for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, new cottage. Everything was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Sadly, the weather was horrific for us, but we still had some fun family time with their table tennis, and corn hole in the basement, or catching up on conversation by the fireplace. We definitely recommend a stay here.

Incredible stay close to the Beach!

We had an absolutely amazing week in Sauble Beach. This is the best place we’ve ever rented there - so close to the main strip, and a very quick walk to the beach. The house is extremely comfortable, with everything you could need. Huge deck around the outside to enjoy and relax, well stocked kitchen, 2 full washrooms, washer and dryer. We loved the firepit outside as well. Can’t wait to return!!

Amazing Cottage

Our family had a great time at this beautiful cottage. Everything was brand new. Kids loved the ping pong table and we had everything we needed. The location is only 4-5 minutes to the Main Street and beach. Peter was great to communicate with and everything went smoothly. We’ll be back next summer!

great place, cottage & amenities great location place was not clean at all unfortunately (dirt & dust on floors, old toothpaste in sink, old soap in showers as e.g.s) -- laundered the bedding, wiped down and cleaned surfaces first thing

We appreciate this feedback but are truly disappointed to hear that the cleanliness of the cottage did not meet this guest’s expectations, as maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests is our top priority. Upon receiving this review, we immediately investigated the matter. Our dedicated housekeeping team takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, and we have found no indications of any negligence in our cleaning procedures prior to this stay. As one of the only cottages in the area to provide a bedlinens service, we place clean, freshly laundered bedsheets, pillowcases and quilts at the end of the bed in each bedroom prior to a guest’s visit, neatly folded and ready for use. We take cleanliness and hygiene seriously, and these linens have been laundered and prepared with the utmost care. We aim to provide all guests a wonderful time, exploring the beautiful surroundings and creating lasting memories and have received many positive comments and reviews.

Wonderful family cottage and great location to beach

The cottage is a perfect setting for a family get away. There were 6 of us there to celebrate New Years. The cottage was very clean, spacious, well organized, lots of windows so very bright, and the beds were comfy (having a few more blankets would’ve been nice but not a deal breaker). The host was very friendly and responsive to emails and texts. She left us a bottle of champagne which was very welcoming when we arrived. All we needed to bring were towels - everything else was there for us. We forgot a few things and the host offered to either mail it to us or we could pick it up in Oakville. This was our first time booking through VRBO and the experience was very positive. Thank you to Naomi for creating such a warm and welcoming experience for us!

We had a fantastic time at the cottage!The space was bright and large, with plenty of outdoor space to play and sit and build a fire! The kids had lots of room to play in the basement, the living room and the deck!The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with plenty of glassware, dishware and cutlery. If you like to cook and/or bake, this kitchen would be your dream! Every appliance we needed as well as a dishwasher, washer & dryer.The bedrooms were spacious with lots of cupboard space and comfortable beds…a must when on family vacation!There were 12 of us, 7 adults and 5 kids, and we all loved everything.Proximity to town is a 2 minute walk and the beach, maybe 5 minutes.If you love Sauble, you’ll love this cottage!We’ll be back next year!Thank you, Naomi & Peter!
