Located on a huge lot up the side of a forested hill in north Manzanita, this beautiful home has it's great room upstairs and it is a wonderful space with lots of light from transom windows; gleaming hardwoods grace the spacious living room and the adjoining dining room and second large sitting area with sofas and a cozy wood stove. The luxurious kitchen has loads of counter space and a handy breakfast bar. From there you step out to a large upper story deck complete with table, chairs and gas barbecue for al fresco dining above the ocean.
A downstairs queen master suite includes a TV, full bath and access to an outdoor deck. A queen bedroom and bunk room plus a full bath complete the sleeping quarters. You can walk outdoors to the extensive flagstone patio and relax beside the firepit under a sky full of stars. Your days will be full since you are just two-and-a-half blocks to the beach and an easy walk to golf, hiking and biking at the state park or investigating the dining and shopping options in the village. All cleaning policies meet or exceed CDC standards and recommendations. Our team wears new masks, gloves and shoes covers each time they enter home to prepare it for a new stay. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high-touch items such as appliance handles, light switches, door knobs, remote controls, etc. We also clean and disinfect all dishes/glassware, silverware, bedding, towels and other linens as well as tubs and toilets. Meredith Lodging has added the extra measure of a pre-check-in inspection to make sure all of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures are complete and to our standard before you arrive.

Once it passes inspection, your home sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in. Additionally, if your home features a private hot tub, rest assured it is disinfected, treated and cleaned thoroughly after each departure so that you and your guests can enjoy it with peace of mind during your stay.

Poorly maintained home

Refrigerator didn’t work and we had to throw away food we had brought. Bedding smelled like mildew. Street level bedroom curtains are see through at night when lights are on inside. Toilet roll holder and towel rack are broken. Toaster malfunctioning. Trim at top of main staircase is loose causing trip hazard. Tv is set up with Apple TV which has its own remote and the remote didn’t work which didn’t matter because the owner of the Apple TV account was logged out on the TV and only the account owner can log back in. Kitchen flooring is warped and separating. Kitchen sink looks like someone took a hammer to it. Carpet is torn up and catching on bedroom door. Hardwired smoke detector started chirping and wouldn’t stop.

Very nice location

We enjoyed our stay, but will most likely not go back. Property kind of tattered and in need of sprucing up, bed uncomfortable, kitchen poorly set up for cooking in. The location is great.
