PARKING Each building has its own parking lot with an additional overflow lot available for extra vehicles. QUIET HOURS Please help us keep this resort a place of relaxation by respecting our neighbors at ALL TIMES and try to keep the noise down. We really want to keep this resort a quiet retreat for all who are there.
DIRECTIONS Please be aware that although the drive up the mountain to English Condominium Resort is an absolutely beautiful, scenic, mountainous drive, it is a very steep and windy drive. We always recommend going up the BACK (339 --> Wilhite Road --> Alpine Drive --> Cove Road) of the mountain, not the FRONT (Blowing Cave Road --> Alpine Drive --> Cove Road) of the mountain. The BACK route is a little longer, but not as steep and does not have as many switch backs.
SECURITY The condo does have one Ring doorbell camera at the front door before entering into the unit.
Other things to note You must have someone over the age of 21 to book and stay! The HOA also requires car and guest information for resort parking and emergencies. No unregistered guests are allowed.
**Holiday Note** We do not allow reservations that end or begin on Thanksgiving day or Christmas day.

Nice little place for a short stay. Tucked away with pretty views and quiet community, but not too far from Gatlinburg. The loft is perfect for kids. Fireplace was nice with wood provided. We enjoyed our stay.

We are so glad to hear you had a great stay! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you, Melinda from the Mountain Time Cabin Rentals team
Excellent condo. What you see is what you get, in a good way. We had no interaction with the owner - there was no need to. I would stay here again if what I wanted was seclusion and a break from the busy city life. It is a drive from the entertainment in the area.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled you had a great stay. We’d love to welcome you back anytime at Mountain Time Cabin Rentals!
My husband and I came up to stay for a couple nights and we really enjoyed the place! The weather ended up being perfect to sit out on the deck and relax. The inside of the unit was super comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Host gave clear instructions and was easy to get a hold of when we had questions.
If you’re looking for a place that’s away from the noise and busy pace of life, this one is for you! Quiet and peaceful. Just big enough. Everything you’d need for a great escape.

Thank you so much for enjoying our condo! We are glad to host you again! Melinda from Mountain Time Cabin Rentals
Despite the fact that it’s quite a ways back in the mountain, it was the perfect little spot for our family of three. The loft was a great place for my teen to have her own space. I was surprised how quiet it was, and it’s nicely nestled in the trees. It’s a decent drive to Pigeon Forge, but we already knew that and didn’t mind. We were looking more for a getaway and this fit the bill. The only thing I’d recommend is better lighting in the master bedroom. Very nice place.

Thanks so much! We're glad you enjoyed your vacation!
Overall, I was really impressed with the property. It was very beautiful and clean. It was June 29-July 1. We stayed in 731. The apartment was clean. The shower head, and water faucet in the kitchen were outdated, to the point of being broken. Other than that, you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The beds were comfortable. The linens were clean. It was sort of like a home away from home. We would most definitely stay again !!!!!
It was nice and all. It was just to far from town. And then the a/c went out. The manager did come through for us and we spent our last night in a beautiful cabin. We still enjoyed our time in TN.

The place was nice overall. The arcade in the loft looks better in person. The bathroom is extremely tiny where you can’t even close the door. The water was contaminated so if you go please make sure to buy water for yourself. Be prepared for wild turns heading up the mountain to your destination. Overall, my partner and I had a nice peaceful time.

I am sorry about the bathroom door. I had the hardware changed and it is working great now. I am not sure what you mean by contaminated water as we have a water filtration system. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again!
My husband and I were pretty happy with the stay. The view from the balcony was amazing, large space for just a couple, full sized and fully stocked kitchen (with all kinds of mini plug in appliances). The only two things that caught my eye was you can tell pets are allowed due to finding dog hair on some towels as well as icy trays. Also, even though the kitchen is fully stocked unfortunately the dishwasher machine was out of order and had to do the dishes by hand (which does not feel like a vacation at that point). The Alexa device was a wonderful help.
The place was very nice and clean. I would like to suggest leaving more hashtags etc for those staying longer than 3 days. We had trouble figuring out the door code so maybe a photo of the lock in advance would help. We had difficulty calling for assistance since our phones did not work. It would be a good idea to send both the network name and password so guests could make WiFi calls for help while near the property. Everything else was great. Thank you for such a a nice place to stay.

Family vacation
The condo itself is beautiful and well taken care of. This property is very far from any town or city access. It takes at least 40minutes to one hour to drive into pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Also, there is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center sitting at the front of the condominium resort. There is no gate or fencing to separate the two. We did not have any issues, but I was on high alert as I had my three children on vacation with us. I feel it should have been listed in the property description.

Thank you for staying with us! Drive times are in the listing or messaging for the asking. We are in a beautiful location on English Mountain. Many guests enjoy our condo location and the pool facilities. Our community is a safe and secure one and a great place to come on vacation. We only describe on the listing what our property has to offer--an affordable and well cared for condominium with the listed amenities on English Mountain. Feel free to reach out with any questions. We are happy to host you!
Loved the Condo except the loft.
The condo was well decorated.
BUT not for seniors. Twisted roads leading to condo. All condos have steps.
We had no silverware in the condo. We had to buy some.
The loft had low beams. I am 5.1 and I hit my head a lot. But once up there it was nice. But only for shorter people.
The bathroom was hard to get in and out of.
The view was beautiful.

I am so glad you loved our condo! As described in the listing, the loft ceilings are low and the roads are windy. I am sorry you could not find the silverware! Please call any time you need assistance. The silverware is in the top drawer to the left of the refrigerator. It is in a slide out tray. Thank you for staying! Shannon :)

Property was pet friendly. They did provide some pet supplies like a blanket, bowls, and cleaner for pet messes. They had one pot to cook in. The others were too big to use.Cleanliness was below par. The floors did not look mopped, there were cobwebs and dust all over the place. The primary bedroom does not have a fan (for folks that need a fan). The walls around the bathroom sink had toothpaste all over them. Both faucets had some kind of gross build up on it and the kitchen faucet sprays everywhere, probably due to the build up.The bed in the loft is very wobbly. Anytime you move the bed sways. The sheets for the primary are very loose and would pop off anytime someone made contact with the bed. It is a king size, but it's actually two twins (which is likely why the sheets pop off), they need separate fitted sheets. Also, the curtains in the primary are on backward. It is a very quiet place. It is about 40-45 minutes to bith Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There is a Bush's Baked Beans museum down the mountain, which was different.I did communicate with the manager. I was informed that the cleaner "Angela" would be coming up to clean (which wasn't going to work because it was too late in the evening and we had our dog with us that can be quite chatty) but she never showed up and I never heard from management again until I told her we checked out. There is a restaurant close by called The Woodshed. And I am not exaggerating when I say they have THE BEST steak.

We appreciate all feedback, but this review does not reflect the reality of the situation. As soon as the guest reported concerns, our cleaning supervisor went to the property within an hour and knocked on the door several times. The guest refused to answer or allow entry, which prevented us from addressing any of the issues they mentioned.
We made every effort to assist and resolve their concerns, but they declined all help and did not permit us to take any corrective action. It’s unfortunate that the guest later claimed we didn’t respond when, in fact, we tried multiple times to reach them directly.
This property is cleaned and inspected by professional staff who take great pride in their work and who are always willing to return if a guest reports a problem. The minor faucet buildup mentioned is a result of local hard water and does not reflect a lack of cleanliness.
We strive to provide excellent service and quick resolutions, but cooperation is necessary in order for us to help. In this case, every attempt to do so was refused.

Okay sums it up!
We arrived to the Condo and it was not clean. The owner(and this is still confusing to me) responded immediately and offered to send someone to clean it. We did not want someone to come in with all of our stuff there and we did not want to drag our stuff back to the car. The owner did give us and extra ticket to Dollywood to make up for the cleaning. The condo needs a deep clean or “spring clean”.I do not consider this to be “Mountain View” property. The only way that I could see the mountains is if I went to the far corner of the porch. My definition of Mountain View is to be able to look out the back door or sit on the porch and be able to look at the mountains. The property uses the same driveway and sits right above a drug/alcohol facility. As stated in an earlier review, there is nothing but a “car gate” that separates the properties. My husband did not want me walking our dog alone. The condo does not have an iron, ironing board, or Alexa as stated. We did not need the Alexa, we however did need the iron and ironing board. I texted the owner and she stated “there was one, unless someone had taken it.” Shannon Parker is listed as the host but all of my communication was with Melinda, so I was a bit confused by this. I have rented for 12 years and this by far was the worst.

Thank you for staying with us! We will certainly rectify anything that has come up missing. Sometimes things end up in a different closet and one just needs to look for them since guests will sometimes move things. We are always happy to help guests when they reach out. I would like to clarify here that the condo had been cleaned but guest was not able to find our vacuum to use during their stay. Any time a guest reaches out with a need, we ask to send someone to rectify the situation asap and offer any help we can asap. We love our condo and taking care of guests! As you drive in, there is a recovery center where people are improving their lives--go them! Our condominium community is a safe and secure place and so peaceful! Both Shannon and Melinda are hosts and either is available to answer questions and assist guests.
First time VRBO stay. Very nice accommodations. If you want away from the crowd then this is the place. Be careful following GPS when traveling up the mountain. Host was on top of everything. Would stay again. Thanks!
great place to stay in the smokies, a little off the beaten path but that’s great.
