Also walkable, or a short drive, is sushi at SOBO, casual dining at The Distillery, Off Spring or the upscale Boonville Hotel. The Tolman House was built in the late 1800's. The 3 -bedroom, 2-bath house boasts a large lot with a lawn and picnic/barbeque area and completely fenced outdoor space. It is dog friendly (max 2dogs). There is one king bed, one queen bed, one double bed, central heating and air, a full kitchen with a dining nook, living room and a sunny banquette seating area. One bathroom is new and modern, with a shower, while the other is original, with a claw foot bathtub, located off the main bedroom. The house is the perfect size for two or three couples or a family. It sleeps 6 people.
The Tolman House is superbly located as a base for exploring Anderson Valley and the Mendocino Coast. In 15 minutes you can be hiking among the redwoods in Hendy Woods State Park. Drive 30 minutes to the Navarro beach or 50 minutes to the picturesque village of Mendocino. Another 15 minutes and you can be at Ft. Bragg--catching The Skunk Train or looking for treasures at Glass Beach. You can also just relax at the picnic table and gaze at the hills of Anderson Valley and the Pinot Noir grapevines that surround you.
**The Tolman House is only available for rent to Foursight Wines club members during the annual Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival, usually held in June.

This is our go-to property for the fair weekend. The only thing we'd love to request would be a handrail for the front porch so my 95-year old mother could feel a bit more confident getting up to the door. We love the yard and sunny porch
Staying at The Tolman House is a favorite part about visiting Anderson Valley. The home is a perfect place to stay with a dog. The field setting is fenced and just lovely to enjoy. The location is so convenient and loving the new enhancements (large and small). Everything you need to make meals and be comfortable. Thanks to our hosts Nancy and Bill.
Each stay at the Tolman House is more wonderful than the last. Anderson Valley is a hidden treasure and staying at this lovely, comfortable, clean, and quaint home is incredibly relaxing and heaven for our pups who love to play in the field. The family owns the Foursight Winery next door and their wines are not to be missed. Thanks to our host (Nancy) for making our visits to Anderson Valley thoroughly enjoyable.
It was a cute old house, complete with an old oven we had to figure out how to use. The property was located right where we needed it to be and the host was quick to communicate. The only downside was the shower in the master bedroom didn't work well. The water flow was very low and we all needed to use the other shower. Not a big deal, though, as it was separate from the toilet. Thanks for the comfortable stay!

Thanks for letting us know about the low water pressure in the shower….and sorry. It is fixed now. The filter in the shower hose just needed to be rinsed out. We encourage guests to let us know if they have any concerns during their stay. We live close and can pop over for quick fixes.
Super convenient to the brewery and winery and bakery and delicious restaurant. Nice porch to catch the sun.Responsive hosts. Comfortable beds. Strong WiFi for the remote workers. Comfortable beds. Convenient breakfast nook that easily converts to workspace.Sheep roaming next door serve as welcome diversion for the 30-somethings working in aforementioned breakfast nook.Well equipped with iron and ironing board.
We loved staying at the Tolman House again, this clean, comfortable farmhouse is well stocked and close to many wineries, markets and restaurants. Nancy is a consummate host.
