Great place when visiting Ballarat. Short distance from most attractions. Kids enjoyed the table tennis. Spacious for our big family. Two living areas is definitely a bonus.
Jenny’s property offered excellent spaces for our large group of adults. The pool/table tennis tables, large tv screens, various lounge and living options and kitchen allowed us to make the most of our time together. It was an unusually hot weekend in Ballarat and the air conditioning was excellent.
Easy to locate. Central to everything. Great set up. It was advertised with hot tub. That was the only disappointment. However it did not damper our weekend away. 8 females & all work colleagues. We were all very comfortable with the accomadation. Jenny was contactable & answered all my enquiries. She was a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Really enjoyed our stay and was surprised with how big the living area. The location is convenient and only minutes away from the shops, so we were able to do a quick grocery shopping after checking in. Overall a great experience, highly recommended.
Great property for a large group and Jenny is marvellous. Couldn't have been more helpful with a last minute change of numbers. Extremely comfortable house with plenty of room. The location is a bit farther out of town than ideal, but not far enough to be an issue.
It was a very comfortable stay and nice and close to the centre of town.
It was a great house for 8 women as we had 3 toilets. We found most things were easy except for the temperature in the showers. We also couldn’t use the sofa bed because it was very hard so someone slept on the couch.

Little disappointing
Large lovely home with a little bit of maintenance and TLC to be done. There was a very unpleasant odour as soon as you opened the door . Not sure what it was but it has been mentioned in another review. Locks on the toilet and bathroom doors would be good to save some embarassing incidents. As also mentioned in another review extra cutlery would be good. non working fan in ensuite bathroom which left everything very moist in the room after your shower. curtains in bedroom with single beds were missing several hooks and had to be taken from lounge room curtains. floors in kitchen sticky.curtains were full of dust. dirty marks on some painted areas. Linen and bedding was very good. Clean and good quality. Problem with heating nd wifi and TV but this was rectified fairly promptly. overall a disappointing stay in what could be a very comfortable home to stay in.

Good stay but would be great with a few modifications
A large property that can comfortably accommodate a large family or a couple of families just 2kms from the city Centre. The pool and table tennis table was great. The queen and king-size beds were very comfortable - one of the best beds I have had in rental accommodation and a comfy night is important. The single beds were not so comfy and a bit fragile, one broke when we were there. The cost of the property for what it offers. is about right. The downside Property advertised with a two-week total refund policy for cancellation, but when you book, the cancellation policy changed to having to give a month's notice. I asked the property owners to change it. I don't think this has happened. There was a smell in the kitchen . A smell of damp. On the last day we found some old wet towels in a cupboard. I hope that was it. There is no laundry and no working vacuum.
The house was a great size for our large group. Plenty of seating and space for the children to play. It’s clean and the showers are nice.
Beds and sofas were comfortable too.
Unfortunately, there was not enough cutlery for the amount of people booked (7 forks for a booking of 10) and there was no sheet provided for the sofa bed which was quite uncomfortable.
There was a strong unpleasant smell (my guess is the carpets were cleaned and the house wasn’t aired afterwards).
Also important to note there are no laundry facilities.
If the few cons are rectified, I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

About the host

I am originally from Ballarat but spent 16 years in Papua New Guinea working in management for an extremely large security company. In this time I became experienced in all aspects of the industry including businesses, property & personal protection proceedures. In this period I also traveled internationally every 9 weeks. This gave me insights into many different kinds & levels of accommodations available. I used that knowledge to set up my BNB's to the highest of standards. Previous to that I spent 10years in the hospitalities industry manageing & working in hotels, motels, nightclubs ect. In this period I learnt extensive customer service skills that have assised me in all aspects of businesses I have been involved in since then. I am available & more than happy to be contaced by my guests before, after and throughout their stay. I take great pride in my work & stive to ensure guest satifaction when staying at my properties.
Why they chose this property
I purchase this property because of it's proximaty to everything in Ballarat. Including shopping, hospitals, restaurants, sporting venues & schools.
What makes this property unique
I loved the back lounge room. It is massive. Undercover entertainment area is lovely to sit in on nice days. Location is quiet but only 5 blocks to the CBD of Ballarat.
