My father and I came for a little get away to the north coast, and found Claire’s place to be super comfortable, beautifully renovated, and well stocked. It was also perfect for penguin watching on the beach which was an easy walking distance away! As I am a sensitive sleeper, I did find it a little difficult to get to sleep the first night due to traffic sounds/light. For me that was the only low point!
The property is unique and beautiful with lots of little extra touches that make the stay perfect. Great location and views- enjoyed the walks along paths across road & along beach - would definitely recommend & visit again
This accommodation made our trip and it truly was perfection by the beach.
Only a stone throw from everywhere this place was truly home for the next 2wks. From listening to the waves on the beach and penguin calls at night to the comfy sleep ins with the heat of a wood fire this was everything we needed.
Checking in and out was a breeze made direct and simple with interaction via the app with the property owners.
We will be returning and will look to stay here again in the future.
Very easy property to stay in and while away from main centres so central to lots of beautiful drives as well as giving immediate access over the road to a beautiful beach

The upstairs bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The lounge on the other hand was really uncomfortable. The kitchen is well set out and had everything we needed. The house was super clean and beautiful. Being straight across the road from a lovely beach made it even better.

Felt very comfortable as soon as we arrived it’s like home away from home
Beautiful converted church with great views and all the creature comforts
We were in the NW of Tassie for a sudden family funeral but this cottage was the perfect, reflectful, restorative base for us. Clean, well appointed and very cosy. We will return (under happier circumstances)
I really enjoyed my time here.
The house is big enough to feel homey and small enough to feel cosy, like a beautiful bird nest with view on the water. You can hear the penguins singing at night from the window.
The property is comfortable and has a little garden which is private and inviting.
The inside is beautiful, featuring some old wood structures. The history of the place is also to be noticed.
The host is very friendly and was very accommodating to me. I highly recommend
Only had a short stay but had everything we required. Beautiful place, right on foreshore. Could just relax all day in bed watching the water, but too much to explore around the place.
