Cute little cottage, not far from Bathurst, O'Connell and Oberon. Plenty of room for my big dog to run around and he loved their dogs too. Comfy bed, great shower. Tania and Robert are great hosts. We'd love to come back.

Lovely cabin in a lovely setting and friendly farm dogs. Very clean and well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Bed very comfortable.Heater needs to be kept on low for it to stay on so a message to that effect inside the cabin would be helpful, but overall a great accommodation choice

Such a cozy cottage, right in the countryside but within an easy 15 min drive to Bathurst. The walls are a foot thick, so we were kept very comfy even in the winter weather. Dairy Cottage has everything you need and a wonderful charm. Beautiful country lanes to explore nearby, too. Thanks so much to Rob and and Trish. We would thoroughly recommend the stay and hope to be back.

The Dairy was the perfect place for my two night stay. Neat, cosy, warm and very comfortable. The two house dogs Dusty and Lucy were adorable and my little doggo loved running around the property with them. There was an outdoor fire pit with timber supplied that I made great use of. Kitchenette had all of the necessary items including an oven and two hot plates plus condiments. Hosts were both welcoming and very responsive to any inquiries I made during my stay. Having Netflix available was great for the evenings once I’d finished with the fire. Bed was very comfy. It was lovely sitting out on the deck looking out on the surrounding land. Lots of birdlife. The Dairy is near the main house. You can hear some traffic noise from the main road but it’s not a bother. The WiFi was a bit on and off however it didn’t worry me. I was able to use my phone most of the time as I needed. Dog owners be aware that while the property is fenced, the area around ‘The Dairy’ is not, so good supervision is required if you have your dog off leash. I would recommend staying here if you’re after a relaxing and cosy place to stay with your dog. It’s about ten minutes to Bathurst. I left feeling relaxed and my little dog had the best time. Dusty the Kelpie found a place in our hearts. Thank you for the yummy rocky road it was a lovely surprise. If your there on a Sunday then consider supporting the locals with a visit to the Tarana markets (around 20 minutes drive). I would love to return one day.

Lovely little cottage containing all the essentials.The hosts where extremely lovely. We where having trouble finding accommodation as we had to extend our stay and the generosity offered up there private home to us. There 2 dogs are very sweet and where very gentle with our puppy. Only thing we would suggest as that a doir be added to the bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute and cozy cottage with lovey dogs

We stayed there for two days. Although it was mid-summer, the cottage remained cool, and we didn't need any fans. We were welcomed by beautiful and friendly dogs. My little dog loved staying there, and one of the dogs took special care of us—my dog, my partner, and me. He made sure we were all alright. We had a great time!
