This is the 4th year we’ve rented this house. It’s a beautiful home on acreage. Great location with easy access to town and the highway. Love the hosts and they are amazing. If you’re headed to Brenham. This is the best place to stay!

this place was perfect for us we had a softball tournament at the fields right across the street and made everything very convenient for us. the house was very clean, and we were able to hangout in ac between. it was very well stock and even had a few things that we had forgot to bring ourselves.

We enjoyed our stay at The Gathering Place. The house very clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. The host went out of her way to make sure we felt welcomed with fresh flowers and a jar of candy and waters in the refrigerator. Our family was visiting to attend a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. It's very close to town and very convenient to everything. We hope to come again and see more of Brenham when the weather is more cooperative! Definitely will stay here again!

Loved this house and had a wonderful stay

My family and I stayed here for a family Christmas gathering. The home was perfect and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked so we could prepare our meal. The owner had it all decorated for Christmas so we truly felt at home there. We would for sure stay there again. It was VERY clean and we just loved it!

Great Home Base for Antiques Week

This was like staying at a friend's house. So comfortable and very well-equipped, with lots of little thoughtful extras, like snacks and fresh flowers. We were also met by a stunning field of bluebonnets right in front of the house. Owner's in the house behind and were super sweet and respectful of privacy. Neverending hot water. Of note, mattresses are soft, in case that matters to anyone. Perfect home base for our busy shopping week at Round Top Antiques fair. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house. So cute, clean and a great location. Rosa is a great hostess and let us use her garden for an engagement proposal. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely be back. We consider this our Brenham vacation house. ☺️

we stayed their for a stockshow we went to at the washington county fair grounds which was really right down the road very clean easy rules very nice house i wished we would have had a place for our stock trailers but was able to leave them at the fair grounds looking forward to staying thier again next time we come to town and i might ad really close to down town and very quit 5 stars thank yall so much

Went there with 2 sets of grandparents and 2 teens. Teens had plenty to do. field of wildflowers in front. house was spacious and tastefully furnished. Amenities were plentiful. Fresh vase of flowers and hand written welcome letter to create me. Host was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend, especially for bluebonnet season!

It was very clean. Our needs were met. The beds were soft & comfortable.Air conditioning worked. The two It was a quiet neighborhood - with several homes within 30 yards of each other. The description of home on six acres is not accurate. This home has at least 4 or 5 within 25 years that all share the same gravel driveway In view. It was comfy, the picket fence backyard swing set is great for small kids. But the vrbo listing said "home on six acres" & that seems misleading for the large # of homes on that property. The house likely has access to a space of 0.25 acres (not six acres).Communication could improve. I received an email when we booked it with all needed info and a friendly welcome letter on the kitchen island was a nice touch & it included a number to use for Questiins or issues. Using the phone number from the welcome letter, on check in day asked for help in finding the kitchen trash can & if We could walk to the gardens and large fountain and pan tree in the vrbo pictires (that area is actually part of the owner's backyard close to their house); i never received a response. The morning of check out I texted about the lack of dishwasher detergent (we were asked to start the dishwasher before departure), a few hours passed but no reply. Overall it was a good place. Clean, safe, cute decor in the bedrooms, and the livingroom tv worked (no batteries for the master bedroom tv & the master shower light flickers on & off). I would give it a 8.3 out of 10.
