Economical choice in a convenient location

The property was very clean overall, though the property is showing its age and a lack of upkeep particularly in the kitchen and main bathroom. It is one unit in a multi unit building and privacy is a little bit of an issue such as a door in the downstairs bedroom that connects directly to the adjoining apartment and taped shut with packing tap and a sign that says "do not open". There were no garbage bags or cleaning supplies and no coffee maker.The location worked well for us just minutes from the train station and downtown and easy to get to. The owner replied propmptly to inquiries.

Unprofessional Host

Host never gave check in information and was unresponsive for 36 hours leading up to check in time as well, citing that he was traveling internationally. Had to connect with him via VRBO who got a hold of him and he told me i needed to ask VRBO support for the contact of his co-host instead of letting me know that he was going to be unresponsive. He promised me a refund which i still have not yet seen since we did not stay at his property.

BYOP (Bring your own plunger)

This house was clean but thats about it. The property manager was not available for issues or questions through the stay. He NEVER responded. I had to reach out multiple times to get the code to even get into the place. We never recieved any instructions or helpful information. We arrived super late at night with no guidance on even the simple question of where to park or what the door number was. The house was clean on arrival. Warning, the basement room bed is like sleeping on a piece of plywood covered by a sheet. Also, the washer and dryer are shared and we didnt even find it till the morning we left. We did have an issue with the toilet that required a plunger. There was no plunger in the house. After waiting all day for an answer from the manager, which we never got, we went out and bought a plunger to use. The next morning, again no communication, there was a plunger on the front porch. If i could give 0 stars for the manager I would. So if you want to book this place, know youll get a clean place and better pray nothing goes wrong because you will not get any help.

This property is very spacious and unique. It has four large bedrooms that could accommodate 8 adult guests. Guests could have access to the property with a digital access code at any time during their stay. There is a large living and a tea room that are ideal for a family or a large group gathering. Cooking utensils and kitchen essentials are available for cooking your own meals. There are lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby where you can literally walk within 10 minutes.

What makes this property unique

My property is centrally located in Vancouver where you can go to downtown and major shopping centers and tourist attractions within a 15 min drive. You can enjoy hiking on Grouse mountain in the morning and sunbathing at English bay in the afternoon. Any guest who loves fresh seafood can drive to Steveston Fisherman's Wharf in 20 minutes and enjoy the ocean breeze at Crescent beach.
