Perfect family lakeside getaway!

This house is beautiful, spacious, and worked out perfect for our family. Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake as well as campfires at night. We have already booked for next year. Definitely recommended!

Being off the grid was fabulous. Got to connect 3 generations and get some much needed stress relief. Ages from 11 to 71 all enjoyed meal time, games, and activities locally. If you want to go out to dinner though, plan ahead and make a reservation way in advance.

Lake life vacation

This was a beautiful home to vacation in. We enjoyed lake life and used the dock to park our boat and utilized the campfire and outdoor space. Lake Tomahawk was great for swimming and fishing in. The kitchen is fully stocked. The home was very clean. Jeff and John responded to questions quickly. Keep in mind there are a lot of stairs to get to the dock. We highly recommend it!

We had a terrific time and the house was everything we expected. Tons of room and the house is in great shape. The amenities really made the difference including the large kitchen, expansive deck and the dock for our boat. We will definitely be back! Lovely Week in the North Woods

Beautiful home with lots of room for fun times, games & adventures with family. Good kitchen. Fabulous view of the lake. Great deck. Easy access to home. Very comfortable beds. Needs railing for safety for new concrete steps. Great response from John when there were questions .

Snowmobiling trip

The house is in a great location for snowmobiling. The trail is right across the road. The view looking out over the lake was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was stocked very well. The layout of the house was great with a bathroom for every bedroom. The upstairs bathroom however had no window covering in the shower. If anyone was outside the could definitely see whoever was showering. We enjoyed the fireplace every morning. We used the pool table which was nice despite the balls falling on the floor when they traveled to the return area. It was still useable and fun. The walkway and steps up to the front door were extremely slippery as there was a few inches of ice. The house itself could use a good cleaning. All of the windows on the main level and the basement were pretty disgusting inside and out. In the basement they were covered with cobwebs inside and out and there were pine needles and dirt inside around all of the doors. It was hard for me to enjoy the beautiful view so I ended up giving them a quick vacuum and wash. There were cobwebs all over the house inside and out. You could see dirt and grime around the fridge, stove, dishwasher and ceiling fans. Kind of weird while we were there I received a text from the caretakers that the owner was going to be there at noon to pick up his snowmobile. It made us feel like we were checked on. All and all it could be 5 star with a good cleaning and I think it would be a decent place for a summer vacation.
