We thoroughly enjoyed our time! The location was well suiting to what we were looking for. While it was a solid 30 minutes to the beach and activities of GS & OB, it was close enough for groceries and other needs (also, Walmart delivers!!) This distance from the hustle and bustle of town was exactly what we needed. It was SO quiet and we had unobstructed views of the bay. We enjoyed sitting on the swing and the porch, watching the boats go by and listing to the birds and the sound of water lapping on the seawall.The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. We didn't use the kayaks, but that would have been fun!

Bliss on the Bon Secour Bay

The bay house was perfect for a quiet week away. It is convenient for visits to small towns like Fairhope and Foley but close enough to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores as well. The bay house is beautifully furnished and well designed. We LOVED eating breakfast and watching the sunsets from the screened-in back porch. The only sounds were the waves and the birds.

We stayed for a week for our summer family vacation and we enjoyed it very much. The screened in porch and sunset views were our favorite part. My daughter and I also enjoyed sitting on the dock with our toes in the water while watching the pelicans. Everything in the house was very comfortable and it was well equipped. The owners were wonderful and very responsive. It is centrally located with an easy drive to area towns and we enjoyed Foley and Orange Beach areas within a short drive.

This place was very clean and secluded. Has towels, linens, coffee pot, beach chairs. Great porch for morning coffee. There is also a room downstairs that is separate from the house. We didn’t use it but it would have been great if we had extra people with us.

We loved this place! The pictures don’t even begin to do it justice. It’s spacious and well laid out, perfect for a family or two couples sharing. The beds are super comfortable and there’s plenty of hot water. It’s a quiet and secluded location but reasonable driving distance to shops, restaurants and even the gulf shore beaches. The owners were so kind and helpful. We highly recommend.

This was our first ‘empty nest’ vacation and was exactly what we needed! Clean, quiet and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on! The screened in porch was fantastic for watching the sunset and having a drink around the smokeless pit! No bugs this time of year so we were able to turn the AC off and open the porch doors to the house. We even got to see a crazy storm roll in! Loved it and will be back!!

This property was as advertised. This property was exactly what we were looking for. Personally for me I spent so much time on the screened in porch with the ceiling fans. Coffee in the morning and wine at night. Gorgeous sunsets. Everything in the house was as advertised. Our contact person was superb and answered promptly when we had a minor issue which was taken care of in a prompt manner. For me personally I loved this house and the location. I love being off the beaten path and this property was perfect. I think the town of foley was about 20 minutes away but then to be able to come back to a double dead end road was perfect. You cannot go wrong renting this property and we would definitely rent this property againWell done!!

Perfect Getaway

Tranquility describes our Foley coastal cottage stay, basically had the bay to ourselves. Enjoyed the short distance to water and pier. No luck catching fish but the crabs and stingrays loved the squid bait. The house was fully equipped with our needs. The bottom 3rd bedroom was a small inconvenience for our sister going to bed at night in the cool air but she was a trooper. Enjoyed the quaintness of the surrounding towns and restaurants. We seniors definitely prefer Bay over Beach, became our favorite vacation destination.
