Happy Valley Hideaway sits on two wooded acres deep in Old Black Bear Woods and backs up to  the National Wildlife Refuge. 







Despite its isolated feel, the cabin is only a few minutes' drive from Timberline, Canaan Valley Resort, Blackwater State Park, the towns of Davis and Thomas and all the other area attractions.







Over 5,000 square feet and boasting four large bedrooms, four full baths, three separate living spaces and beds for 12 guests, the cabin is perfectly set up to bring multiple families together while allowing each their own private space.  Kids will love exploring all the hidden nooks and crannies, including the hidden entrance to the "Cubby Hole" - the perfect cozy spot to make their own.

I cannot give a review about this place, since the hosts changed us 24 hours prior to our trip to another house, due to a water problem.The other house was very clean and proper, and well located, but considerably smaller for our group of 8, and lacking some of the amenities that we always have in Vrbo rentals. ( coffe, shampoo, conditioner,etc.) We didn’t have much of a choice,it was to accept this other house or to cancel the trip, which was not an option. The hosts were attentive.
