Labor Day relaxation

Our stay was everything we expected when we made our reservation. The house was very quiet in a nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the waves during the day and stars at night. We would definitely consider staying here again

Heaven on earth

Exceptional waterfront location and absolutely everything one would need for a restful getaway! Home is very tastefully furnished and beds are extremely comfortable! The only sounds we heard were the high tide waves under our feet and seagulls during low tide. Even though the listing description is spot on, it’s even more beautiful in person.

Home beautiful and surrounded by beauty of bay & birds! When tide came in, it felt like we were on a boat. Very spacious living room and kitchen. Bed comfortable! It is tucked away in quiet area and need to drive everwhere which was fine for us👍

Great Place!

Great location, right on the water. The kids loved walking the beach. I didnt realize the upper half of the home was another rental unit (there is a door in the hallway of the 2nd floor that enters that unit) The house was clean and stocked with what we needed. I wish I would have brought my own pillow, the ones at the house were not comfortable. Bring your own beach towels and toys. We enjoyed our stay!!

80th Birthday celebration

The view was awesome. The house was very comfortable. We had what we needed to cook and entertain our family. The neighbors were friendly. The home was great for what we needed with our elderly parents. The living area and a bedroom on the first floor. Travel to Cape May area was easy. The property manager communicated and followed up with us. Would recommend this home for a relaxing vacation.

We mostly enjoyed our stay at the place. House was mostly clean and well equipped. Most disappointing part of the stay was that we had to bring sheets, towels and blankets with us. All the places we have rented in the past have always provided us with these items. I hope the owners would make some changes in the policy. Thanks.

Relaxing Get Away

If you want to relax at the beach, this bayside house is for you. The VRBO pictures do not lie. The house, which is situated on the edge of the bay, is tastefully decorated and has an amazing balcony where we enjoyed our breakfasts as we listened to the rhythm of the water and watched the egrets, falcons, seagulls, and on one occasion a bald eagle. The house is off the beaten path so if you want a place you can walk to a restaurant or a store, this is not for you. The “guest contact“ was very responsive to any issues. I would rent again.

The house wasn’t well-prepared for our arrival. We didn’t receive information on how to access the property and needed to call and chase it down. There was one tiny bottle of travel shampoo for three adults over 4 days. No soap or hand towels in any of the bathrooms. Most of the pots and pans were dirty upon arrival, the house was quite cold, many fruit flies in the house, and the floors were a bit dirty. We ended up sweeping and the floors, cleaning up, putting the heat on, etc, but not a smooth arrival. Additionally, the furniture in this property is not comfortable and it’s a very sterile property overall.

Overall very quiet, with a great location

The house is in a quiet location with great views of the water and sunset. It is close to both Cape May and Wildwood. When the tide is high and rough at night, you can feel the water rocking the house, and the parking across the street floods. This would have been a nice detail to know in the listing or check-in information. Also, the lock to the door gets bleached in the morning sun, so it can be hard to put the passcode in. It would also have been nice to have more than one bath towel per person, or at least a couple of extras lying around for incidentals. I would have brought a few of my own if I knew this would be the case. Overall it's a very nice and updated rental, but personally, I would not rent again as the rough water made me pretty uneasy.

This was my first time using VRBO and I am very pleased with my stay. The house looks exactly like the pictures but only better! Roomy, spotless, cozy and fully stocked with everything you need, only had to bring beach towels. It was a 25 minutes drive to Avalon, cape May & wildwood so we were able to take day trips to each. The house is on the bay which is a beautiful view, I personally would not go in that water but I did see people swimming from a nearby home. You honestly could not ask for a more perfect view. Yes the house is a little out of the way, but for a short drive, you get this beautiful house. Well worth it. I strongly recommend. My only issue was that right after I made the booking I sent several emails asking for info and got no response. But once you make final payment you are given a direct contact who responds immediately. Which is good to know

View was priceless. Address was not correct. Went to wrong property and had to contact manager to get correct address that was no where near the listed address. Lost 15 to 30 minutes. Heard noise above us and discovered the owner was living on the floor above where we slept. This was NOT disclosed when the property was booked. We were told they would be leaving soon and that wasn’t correct. They were there all night when we checked in and left the following day. The deck railing was dangerously loose and had to be avoided. Tried to open dining room curtains and rod came apart because one of the curtain brackets was missing. Liquid soap in was watered down.

The house was amazing...the photos of the view are not even close to how gorgeous it is. It's a beautiful home situated in a very quiet and private location right on the water. We absolutely would love to stay here again What saved this rental was the very thorough and concerned communication with Nicole who represented the owner. She was the ONLY one who reached out to us when there was a problem with the house after the recent deep freeze. She is the ONLY one who communicated with us about all the efforts that she, personally, was doing to make sure our rental would happen without a problem. She was the saving grace for our rental. EVOLVE was absolutely the WORST. I will NEVER rent from them ever again. They gave us misinformation about what parts of the house were included in the rental, NEVER reached out to us about the frozen pipes issue, NEVER reached out to us about the change in check-in procedure, due to an issue with the lock, NEVER reached out to us to even check to make sure we were actually in the house or that we checked out.

Amazing view, right on the water. House is very nice but non of the bathrooms or kitchen had trash bags. Maybe just housecleaner did not finish her/his job. In general, everything was great.

Peaceful home on Delaware Bay

My family stayed in this home for long weekend. We were looking for a quiet peaceful place with easy access to restaurants in Cape May. This home is all of that and more. We had to bring our own linens, as most people do there, but everything else you need is available. We would love to go back again.

Spent 1-week at this property. 20 minutes from tourist area of Cape May but worth the drive.

Quiet! Peaceful! Great layout. Comfortable. It was easy to get to the beach, tourist area of Cape May, wineries, and ferry to Delaware. Westwood was basically 20 minutes east of the property (not our interest but ok).
