Lincoln’s home was a wonderful place for our family vacation. The house was charming, cozy, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved being right on the Delaware Bay—the views, wildlife, and beautiful sunsets made the setting really special. It’s a fantastic spot for families, and Lincoln was a thoughtful and welcoming host. We had a great week and would absolutely stay here again!
The house was absolutely beautiful, with incredible views overlooking the bay. It was the perfect spot for a family getaway—peaceful, comfortable, and surrounded by amazing scenery. And the lightning storms were truly unforgettable—honestly, the most incredible lightning I’ve ever witnessed in my life! We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!
Lincoln and Julie’s cottage was the perfect little getaway for our family of 6. The cottage was very clean and spacious. We came during a heat wave and the cottage was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or gadget you could think of. Aside from groceries, we did not need to purchase a single thing - it was like a home away from home. The biggest draw for us was being right on water! My 9 year-old twin boys loved exploring the bay - rescuing horseshoe crabs, looking for seashells and playing in the water. The sunsets were phenomenal! Lincoln was a great host - very responsive and helpful when needed. We would def love to stay again!
Wonderful home right on the Delaware Bay. Beautiful sunsets. Wonderful seating area inside and out! Thoughtful hosts - the house was well stocked. Enjoyed our stay.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we really couldn't have asked for a better place. The views from the back deck are incredible and the house had everything you could need. Wonderful trip!

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful review, Whitney. We are honored you chose our house for your honeymoon and are welcome back anytime!
We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The owner answered all of our texts right away if we had any questions. The neighbors were all so friendly. Overall enjoyed our stay.
Lovely little piece of heaven. Quiet neighborhood, well stocked house, beautifully decorated with unsurpassed front row seats of the sun setting every evening.
Comfortable and Quiet with an Amazing Bayside View
Our family has been going to the Cape May area for years and typically stay oceanside. This year we decided to find a location bayside and this house was a perfect choice! Its easy to find and very comfortable. The area was quiet but not far from beaches, restaurants and attractions.
Sitting outside on the deck and pier listening to the waves and watching the sun/moon was just perfectly relaxing.
Our host was easy to connect with throughout the booking process as well as leading up to and during our stay. I could not have asked for better communication!
Our family had the best time here! The views are breathtaking. So much exploring, fishing and relaxation. The owner was very communicative and helpful before and during our entire stay. Very friendly and accommodating! The kitchen had so many supplies to make cooking very easy. They had fresh herbs and peppers on the deck to spice things up! Our boys loved walking the shoreline during low tide and found many horseshoe crabs, spider crabs, minnows, hermit crabs, turtles, shells and so much more! We caught sting rays, blue claw crabs, drums and more! We loved watching the variety of birds flying by and the rabbits hopping in the street. The neighbors were all very friendly! We highly recommend this house for your next vacation!

Amazing beach cottage right on the water!
We just returned home from an amazing stay at this quiet cottage on the bay. With three bedrooms, this was the perfect beach house for our family of five. We enjoyed swimming, bird watching, and shell hunting directly in our "backyard." The home was on a secluded and quiet street, yet was still within 15-20 minutes of restaurants, ocean beaches, wineries, and the boardwalk. The home was nicely decorated and well-appointed with all the comforts of home and the outdoor shower was a nice touch. Lincoln and Julie were always very quick to respond (even after 11 pm at night when I couldn't figure out the lock!) and were always willing to take the time to answer my many questions. Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your little oasis!

Thank you Cheryl,
I love your active feedback and have passed on your recommendations regarding Amazon Fresh; restaurants and winery tours to our guests. In addition, I have spoken to Group On regarding the deals they offer.
We realize this vacation was so important to you reliving childhood memories and having children-you wanted to relax and being small business owners, this vacation was special.
I only wish we could have had a glass of wine during the sunsets together. I have made a new friend.
Thank you Julie and Lincoln
This was a magical vacation for our family of 4 with two toddler boys. It encompassed the best of all worlds- the serene deck to drink a glass of wine and relax, while the kids played in the sand, on the dock, and baby pool we set up on the deck for hours. It is also close enough to the Wildwood boardwalk to get the kids out for rides and junk food, and also close enough to spend a few days on the beautiful Cape May beach. We are typically a "go out to dinner while on vacation" family, but we enjoyed being at the house so much that we ordered in and cooked more than planned. Lincoln was absolutely fabulous and so responsive, and the neighbors on both sides are extremely kind and helpful. We will definitely be back for as long as they let us return :)

Thank you for the lovely review, Jessica. It was a pleasure having you and your family. We, too, appreciate your communication-it’s always nice to hear from our guests-to “put a voice to the names”, so to speak. And of course you and your family are welcome back anytime! Cheers!
Where do I start? The place is magical. Fully stocked kitchen appliances and most spices since they encourage sharing and a leave behind for the community motto. They even have a coffee grinder for fresh coffee. and a blender This place had everything.
Then after you walk through the gorgeous property that has been updated you look outside to an endless bay and view. Nightly we ate outside, watching the terrapins breathe, the egrets snack and the waves soothe our souls.
Some of the best sunsets and lightning show we have ever scene. Only about a 20 min drive to Wildwood or Stone Harbor. I also recommend stopping by Matthews Seafood and cook fresh fish on their grill. DO NOT PASS GO on this PROPERTY.

Something Special-Best House and Hosts on the Jersey Coast!
I have been going to Cape May for forty years and my husband has been going for fifty.. This is by far the most beautiful house with the most caring hosts of any of the many places we have stayed. The love and care put into this house and the care for their guests is obvious in the way the hosts have tried to anticipate any need their guests could possibly have. The work they put into the welcome book alone! Then there was the careful and instructive labeling of everything( so interesting to see how high the water came up in Hurricane Sandy) the incredible professional kitchen and the amazing spice cabinet, the beautiful decor, artwork and lighting, the gorgeous sunsets and amazing views from the extremely comfortable deck that is right on the bay,. I could go on and on.. This house and its hosts are something very special. Any question or problem we had was immediately answered and addressed in such a friendly, personal manner. This peaceful, beautiful little piece of heaven was a wonderful place to be together with family and refresh the soul. I give it the highest possible recommendation!
We had a wonderful stay! The house is very well located, just 10 minutes from Rio Grande and 15 minutes from Wildwood. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was a highlight, with beautiful and unforgettable sunsets. The bed was also very comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep.During our stay, there were quite a few small jellyfish in the water. However, this didn’t stop the kids from having a great time playing in the sand and enjoying the ocean.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
Honestly, I debated whether to write this review at all, because the best way to keep a gem like this to yourself is to stay quiet about it. But the owner asked, and fairness won out.We spent a week at Pierce Point with our two young kids and came home the kind of tired that only happens when a vacation actually works. The property sits right on the water and has that rare quality of feeling both wide open and completely tucked away. It reminded us immediately of a beloved family shore house we grew up with, the kind of place that gets into your bones. High praise we don't give lightly. The house itself is exceptionally well stocked. Nearly everything you'd think to bring, you won't need to. The kitchen in particular is a standout. It's set up for someone who actually cooks. The tools are there, the equipment is solid, and the spice cabinet is genuinely remarkable. Every spice you'll ever need and probably a few you'll discover. For a family that loves to cook, this alone set the tone for the whole week. The kids crabbed, fished, collected sea glass, flipped horseshoe crabs, and ran the beach until their legs gave out. The adults watched sunsets from the dock that genuinely stopped conversation. We booked again for next year before we'd even finished unpacking the car.Five stars, highly recommend, and I sincerely hope this listing stays just obscure enough that we can get our week again next June.
The location of this house directly on the bay, watching tides come and go with birds on land and water, made the vacation just about perfect. The sunsets were always beautiful and cannot be duplicated anywhere else in New Jersey.
Lincoln was communicative, genuinely concerned with creating solutions for an initial conflict of the cleaning person not showing up, and responsive host.
Some highlights:
1.The kitchen is very well stocked with nearly anything you would need to store or prepare meals
2. The neighbors are very close together, but luckily became new friends
3. The inside furniture is updated, clean and comfortable
4. Though the Bay is not ideal for swimming, the location has a lovely local feel, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, there are amazing tide pools kept which kept my kids busy for hours; beach swimming is only a 20 minute drive away
5. During high tide, it's easy to imagine you're in a house boat with nearly 180 degree ocean views
6. The extended dock served as an beautiful place to reflect, sit quietly and enjoy the ocean.
This stay exceeded all of our expectations. We knew the bay water outside the house might not be ideal for swimming BUT we didn't know how amazingly fun the pier and beach on the bay would be for all of us OR how convenient it would be to hop over to the beautiful Stone Harbor beach every day in between our activities at the house. Our first stop on the trip was Big John's bait and tackle, right down the street, to get my son's first fishing rod... we asked Big John "what can we catch?" "Sharks" he said with a grin. And we actually caught one! But only after catching fish after fish. A dad teaching his son how to fish for the first time could never have found a better place. My six year old literally just had to cast once and he'd reel in a croaker. And the crabs were jumping into these little traps we picked up. Drop it, and you'd catch a couple almost immediately. And when the tide went back down from lapping up next to the house, you have a giant beach -- you can literally walk out like 100 yards from the pier to find shells and other traces of animals! The sunsets were an amazing backdrop to eat on the pier or in the dining area that looks out through sliding glass doors. They had purchased new furniture and the living/dining area and porch all had clean, attractive and comfortable furniture. master bedroom mattress appeared to be brand new, and was quite comfortable. Two other bedrooms were fine for kids or younger folks. TV, internet, kitchenware, and other supplies you might expect were all good. And owners were very communicative and always available for our questions. There's only one thing you need to be careful about and that's laundry. There's a high iron content in the water and take the owners advice (they did tell us) seriously, it will ruin clothes if your not careful. We got more than we had hoped from this trip!
I have been all over Pa and NJ as a truck driver but never heard of Pierces Point. I had received a diagnosis this year that I was shocked by and just wanted a quiet getaway with my college age kids. This place was ideal for what I needed. The house was fantastic and the views were perfect. It reminded me of the shore of 45 years ago. Just perfect!

Steve, it was a pleasure to have you and thank you for the kind review. Most locals have never heard it either and that’s a good thing. Wish I knew you were a driver. I worked some years as a logistical coordinator in shipping and receiving and was deeply involved with long and short haul trucking.

Why they chose this property
This property has the most amazing sunsets and directly on the water. In addition, this is our getaway- so we do all we can for ourselves.
What makes this property unique
Delaware Bay is off the tourist path-yet close enough to enjoy multiple towns. Direct beach access and beautiful views. Romantic and family-what we are all about.
