Located on a lake, it is a 15 minute drive to Guysborough town and is 1 km from a provincial beach/park - a perfect place for a getaway.

Really great stay, near a large lake, walkable to a provincial park with a long beach, great for walks along a bay that opens up to the ocean. Great amenities, including small boats for paddling on the lake.

We called this the Dream Cottage!

I’ll start this review by saying that we’ve stayed at plenty of cottages. This one was by FAR our favourite. The inside feels brand new (although the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay but we didn’t mind we had so many activities) and the outside is a DREAM. Right on the most beautiful lake, with kayaks and a floating pad for swimming and relaxing. The property and the.lake house were so clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will be coming back!
