This is an amazing place! Very quiet with a gorgeous view and everything needed for a relaxing vacation. Very clean and I loved the music theme. The owners responses were near instantaneous. Highly recommend!

View and beach are excellent. VRBO did not provide access information. Kitchen very small and not very well equipped. In general the house is rather tired and in need of updating.
The property is absolutely stunning with a lovely little gravel/stone beach at the bottom. Kayaking and swimming in front of the property was amazing. The house is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay, rain or shine. I would most definitely stay again in future.
Just completed our second stay at this beautiful property. It is truly lovely. We enjoyed kayaking and searching for sea glass on the beach. Meals overlooking the water were lovely. This place does not disappoint.
Property description is accurate.
We enjoyed our week and particularly the sauna!
Nice property, very well kept.
Close enough to shopping yet far enough away to enjoy the outdoors, birds, and the privacy.
Wouldn't hesitate returning for yet another week, probably longer.
Very well equipped house with all kitchen supplies you can think of. Also very well equipped for outdoor activities like going to the beach and Kayaking. You can start swimming and kayaking right from your own beach/shirr line..
Pleasant 10 d stay in a beautiful house with 1a sea view. Quiet and beautiful place with lots of nature around, like humming birds, eagles and rabbits. Beautiful flowers around the house. Very good communication with the owners. Super stay and recommend to book.
The house and yard are beautiful, and the beach is amazing. We would have been happy spending the entire time one place or the other - but to have it all together was priceless. Sunrise, sunset, any time of day, there is no bad view. And if you ever get tired of the sights, just put on a record, close your eyes, and enjoy.
The home was spectacular. Gorgeous views and home was spacious and very clean. We extended another day because we loved it that much but unfortunately we needed to leave. Would return in a second! We met one of the owners in person and he was a pleasure to meet and chat with. We all highly recommend this place!

Hi Ana, it was a pleasure meeting you folks as well. Thanks very much for the great review! - Frank
This is a wonderful house. Only issue was we never wanted to leave. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Then walk down to the beach, light a fire as the sun sets.
The house is well equipped, and not in a fussy way. We never met the owners although I think we shared a kinship.
This is a “Can’t miss spot “ in Cape Breton.
We selected this vacation home for its location, amenities, and prior customer reviews and we were more than satisfied with our 13–day stay in this lovely home. We enjoyed kayaking and relaxing on the large deck with incredible views. We even spotted porpoises! We
explored Point Michaud beach, Baddeck, Louisbourg, St. Peter’s, Judique, and the Highlands Park. Nova Scotia is a beautiful province. We left a day early to avoid Hurricane Lee and hope the wind and storm damage to this area is minimal.
Immediately we were taken by the spectacular view…. Almost magical. The house was very clean and comfortable and high end materials were used throughout. Be prepared to travel a distance to see sights, but it was worth it. We had torrential rains at one point, but we felt safe because of the all house generator.
We highly recommend this property because of the location and amenities and the friendly correspondence with the owner.
This was one of the very best cottages we have ever visited!! The views from both the cottage and the beach were gorgeous. The cottage was extremely well stocked with everything we could possibly need to make for a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay. This included everything you could possibly need to cook for a family in the kitchen, cozy blankets for the couch, binoculars, even a couple of guitars!! We especially loved the vintage record player and collection of albums to peruse. The book and dvd shelf was well stocked for all ages, even had our childhood favourite “Barnyard Dance”. There was one minor issue with a heat pump, and the hosts were immediately responsive and helpful.
I would highly recommend this stay, and we hope to return one day soon.
I can’t say enough about this beauty on Cape Breton Island, the views, the property is stunning. It is so quiet and peaceful, our only regret we didn’t stay longer!
Lori was always available to answer questions, she was wonderful to deal with. The cottage has everything you could possibly need.
Our daughter and grandchildren, 2 & 5, joined us part way through the week. Our private beach was perfect for them.
The lake is wonderful to kayak on, there are 3 kayaks available and life jackets of all sizes.
To sit on the deck at night with accent lights throughout the grounds on the property, hearing the call of the loons, it couldn’t get any better.
Having a sauna was an extra bonus, nice to warm
up after a swim.
We will definitely be back, we have travelled a lot and rented homes, this one is one of our favourites by far. I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying themselves, it was hard to leave.
This quiet property was everything the listing said. It had everything you would need plus more, Keurig and coffee pot, pods and coffee provided, pantry items, all you needed to bring were your groceries. The view of the water was absolutely gorgeous. We bought fresh seafood, lobster, snow crab and cod cheeks from BST Lobster sales and ate in every night. The sauna was amazing and there were even essential oils which were a nice surprise. The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner body wash and soap. There was a PS4 with lots of games, a games closet full of games and a book shelf full of books and dvds for rainy days. The small private beach is small rocks and we had a great time enjoying the beach. Lori was very quick with communication. We only used the main bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. Lots of extra blankets provided.
The closest town was Port Hawkesbury,15 mins, on your way to the Property and it had everything you needed groceries, pharmacies, restaurants, gas stations, Walmart. We definitely recommend this property!
Hier lässt sich gut verweilen.// It's a great place to spend some time.
Schönes, sehr gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus an bester Lage, ruhig gelegen mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Sehr empfehlenswert. Schade war einzig, dass die Gasflasche (Grill) nach einmal grillen bereits leer war und die Ersatzfalsche im Schuppen war leider auch leer...
Beautiful, very well furnished holiday home in a prime location, quietly situated with a very nice view. We wanted for nothing. Highly recommended. The only pity was that the gas bottle (barbecue) was already empty after one barbecue and the spare bottle in the shed was unfortunately also empty...
