Maine vacation

It is a nice, older house. We had a good time.Got to see Bethel and surrounding areas. Would stay again if we decide to go back to that area.

Great Soot in Downtown Bethel

Couldn’t pick a better location. I’m the middle of town directly beside the grocery store. Loved the covered porch.

Snowboard Getaway

The property was easy to find, with plenty of parking for both of our cars. The kitchen had plenty of space with everything we needed for dishes and cookware. It was perfect having the two bathrooms (both on first floor). The mountain was only about 12-minutes away which was perfect for getting to and from Sunday River. This would be a place I would rent again in the future.

Family Gathering

This is a very quiet home and a very convenient location. Grocery store across the street and a wonderful cafe (Gemini Cafe) for breakfast and lunch is just as close. Home was built on 1880 so is quite rustic but the owners have done a good job with some updates. Most appliances (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, TV) are fairly new except the range whose burners do not fit so we would not use. TV has no local channels, only streaming. Walk in shower in the main bath is nice and hot water is plentiful. Bathroom vanities have been updated well. Anyone with mobility issues may want to avoid this property as all bedrooms are upstairs and bathrooms are downstairs. There is no curtain on the window at the bottom of the stairs so coming down in the middle of the night on your PJ's provides a full view of anyone walking or driving by, or parked in the parking lot across the street.Threshold between the kitchen and the dining room is a trip hazard. It was the quietness which allowed for a good night's sleep and the convenience that was really enjoyable though.
