1970's Renovated,self contained 2 bedroom bach

Totara Bach Wanaka, is a comfortable, self contained 2 bedroom bach (linen & towels supplied), beside a large park (Kellys Reserve). 1.5km to town centre & 800m to the lake. BBQ, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine/ drier combination, TV, wifi, microwave, oven & cooktop, toaster, electric jug, heater & logburner. (We provide firewood). Separate toilet, outdoor seating & off street parking. Sorry, no pets.
The bach will be serviced weekly for stays more than one week.
We live next door & are more than happy to help with any local recommendations

I love this place! It felt like home and being able to meet up with my daughter and son-in-law, spend time here watching movies and favorite shows was wonderful. It's a good location, nice neighborhood, and having the owners next door was a plus.

We loved our couple of weeks at Totara Bach. The property is exactly as described. We stayed in winter and really enjoyed the fire. The bach is well heated and very comfortable. There's no dining table, rather gather around the kitchen island.Very comfy beds, great shower, nice hosts who live next door.

A wonderful stay in WBaka

The property was very comfortable. It was in a quiet and pleasant location, with only a short walk to the lake. We were made to feel at home by Angela our host from the very outset. Angela gave us some really helpful suggestions about places to see. The bach was perfect for our group of 3 with all our needs supplied. If (when) we return to Wanaka we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Welcoming base for Wanaka adventures

We loved this bach, absolutely all the amenities you could need and Angela was very welcoming and helpful, sorting out an issue with the key immediately and bringing extra balls for the kids to play with, along with making up a bed in the lounge. Really helpful having fans as it was beautifully warm when we’re staying, and beds were very comfortable. Really great having a stash of pantry staples too, appreciated the range of teas! Thank you for your hospitality

Cozy and luxurious

We were here for a 5 day ski trip. Hosts were lovely and Angela had thought of everything, including having the fire in for our arrival. We had a lovely stay, comfy beds and quality products to use while there. A nice quiet setting with room for kids to run around outside. Definitely enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Highly recommend.

Host was lovely. She met us shortly after arriving. She suggested places to eat and things to do during our stay. Place was heated with wood stove and had plenty of wood on hand. Even had a surprise snack in the refrigerator. Highly recommend saying here.

Angela was a great host. We enjoyed our stay very much, lovely and clean cottage. Perfect location for us being up for a football tournament, we were allowed to access the playing grounds through the gate in the garden, very accessible. Close to the lake and township too. Definitely recommend this place and will come again.
