Despite being diminutive, Gairdner Cottage is fully equipped, has a lusciously comfortable queen bed, a north facing deck with semi-rural view off open plan living/dining, and a fully enclosed rear yard.

Here you can cosy down and sleep well while enjoying privacy of your own space and having your dog with you while you are away.

Further afield, gorgeous coastal scenery, inland mountain ranges, bush and beach walks will refresh and inspire you.

Great stay in a lovely little town

We really enjoyed our stay at Gairdner Cottage. It was a perfect short stop for us on our long road trip from Alice Springs to Perth. We felt really at home, especially having our furbabies with us. The house was well equipped, clean with a comfortable bed. We really enjoyed exploring Albany and hope to come back for a longer stay in the future.

Perfect and very clean for a couple and a small dog!

I loved how clean it was! Aesthetically pleasing, comfortable with all the amenities! The back yard was pretty and perfect for our little dog Chester to run and snuffle around in.

The break we needed

We needed a break and Gairdner Cottage was just what we needed. Close enough to food, walks, shops and tourist sites to make it easy to be out and about, but with a comfy bed, a patio with a view, lovely garden and an ever-changing play of birds, butterflies and dragonflies to make staying in delightful.

Perfect for a simple get away

A small but well-prepared house. Includes all the facilities one could realistically want. Owners were extremely helpful. We will stay there again.

Fantastic little cottage

Loved staying here. Basic and homely. Dog friendly and fenced well. Great management. Very clean. A little local noise in the neighbourhood but safe and tucked away. Great views from a gorgeous deck.

Home Comforts

From start to finish my stay was easy. The home has everything you need, the bed was comfortable and the views were amazing. My senior dog loved the garden and having a side door access without the steps of the porch was a game changer. There are two parks very close by (one just around the corner).

For just me and my little dog it was perfect. Very clean. The mattress was so comfortable I took a photograph of the make and brand and ordered one as soon as I hit home.
