If you were looking for a cabin in the woods experience but still wanted the comforts of brand name shops and restaurants, this is your spot! My wife and I were comfy in a beautiful cabin in the woods with all it's splendors but only a few miles from restaurants and shops. Best weekend getaway every!
The location is close enough to walk to a few restaurants & movie theater which was very convenient. Neighborhood was wonderfully quiet during the weekdays, only saw a handful of people all week.
It was beautiful and clean. The beds are AWESOME!!! The tv’s didn’t work in the bedrooms.
Great, but toilette didn’t work, batteries in the remote for the tvs in the bedrooms maybe needed some? Jacuzzi is empty, over all, it worked for the price. If you’re expecting everything g to be perfect, go somewhere else, other than that, I slept sooooo good!!! 😃

Hi Cathy, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay.
-We have looked into your concerns and have added new batteries to the TV remotes. We have had a professional fix any issues with the toilets to avoid any issues for future travelers. Additionally, the jacuzzi is not an amenity and is not in use for guests.
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to host you again!
If you are looking for an old rustic cabin with uneven floors, this is it. I was raised by the philosophy that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. Enough said....

Hi David, the right vacation home is everything, and we're sorry to hear this one didn't meet your expectations. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to provide some additional context:-The cabin was built in the 1950s and has undergone renovations to maintain its charm. However, the slight slope in the great room is due to the original construction and natural settling over the years.-The listing photos accurately reflect the cabin’s rustic character and unique features.Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Your feedback is valuable as we continue to improve our guest experience.
We had a great time, the neighborhood was amazing and quiet. The dog had a little gated area to use as a bathroom. Kids slept in the gray couch and said it was super comfortable. The screened front porch is perfect for doing work on the computer and drinking coffee every day. Our trip was to have a great family vaca and spread my Gmas ashes in the forest. We went to Greer to do it then my daughter got a GIANT splinter between her toes which required an ER visit bc the UC wouldn’t take us in the event that it had struck an artery. Thank goodness it didn’t. So we had to go with plan B. We walked around the neighborhood everyday (two laps around the entire two loops is over 2mi) so great exercise. Unfortunately the last day we misplaced the key. Hopefully they found it inside as we could not. And it wasn’t with our stuff when we returned home despite searching it before we left. Overall it was a good trip despite a couple mishaps.
The cabin was pretty nice for the price, in a beautiful location surrounded by pine trees on a decent size lot but also close to town for easy access to whatever you need. The only problem was that it was advertised as having central air conditioning, but really only had a unit in one room so we had to use a couple fans to try to distribute the air through the rest of the house to keep it comfortable since there was a heatwave and it was 90° during the day. By cranking the air all the way down in one room and running the fans all day we were able to make the rest of the house comfortable. One other small problem was that the neighbors were a little rude, not to us directly but they called & complained to the owners because our kids were wandering around in the forest behind the house, not causing any trouble, just being kids and exploring in the woods but apparently crossed over onto their property which is not marked at all as far as we could see. So just be careful if you want to go walk in the woods behind the house not to go too far off to the side. One other potential issue is the floors are a little uneven in the house with a lot of steps up and down and some slanting, not a big deal for me but for elderly or people with balance issues it might not be the best.
