Excellent location with plenty of space for us to get together and relax, without feeling like we were living on top of each other. Access to the beach was easy - although included many steep steps. It was great to be able to use the kayaks.

This is a fantastic beach house in an amazing location in Royal National Park. Our family loved spending the Christmas holidays in this lovely, spacious home with gorgeous ocean views. Six adults had plenty of space. We cooked family meals and enjoyed trips to Bundeena, Cronulla, Watamolloo and into Sydney. Loved it!!

You are welcome back any time.

The property was very nice and well stocked. The only real issue we noticed was the lack of handrails going down the stairs to the lower level. We are all retired ladies, although quite fit, but were concerned about going down the stairs - the timber colour of the timber blended in which meant the steps were not well defined.

Location was beautiful, amenities were amazing but the cleaning needs alot of attention, walking on the floors with no shoes on resulted in dirty feet within a few minutes. This was the only downer but was otherwise a joyful stay.

This was our most amazing vrbo stay in the history of our travels— the house is stunning. Right on the water with beautiful scenery. The walking path was lovely. The neighbors were super friendly. The house was breathtaking. We didn’t want to leave. Check in happened all on line which made it all easy. If you are planning on cooking- stop at a grocery store before arriving bc there’s nothing super close. Otherwise, this house and stay will be something I’m thinking about for a while to come!

The place was quite nice and situated in a beautiful location. However, we weren’t informed that there would be surveillance cameras, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. The cameras were on the back verandah where our family gathered to socialize, so it felt like we were being watched. Additionally, there was no broom available, so we had to use a dustpan to clean up the entire area. Despite these issues, we did enjoy the overall experience.
A modern beach house with amazing water view and direct access to the beach.
We had a great family time at the house and enjoyed kayaking (kayaks provided by the owner).
The only downside is that there were no hot water supply after 930pm for the two nights we stayed. We did not use hot water excessively or all had hot shower at the same time. We believed it’s due to the setting of hot water supply. Other than that, we enjoyed our time at this lovely beach house.

Hi Vicki
Thank you for your amazing review and identifying the problem with the hot water setting, the owners have fixed this for future guests and your next visit. :-)

this property was truly wonderful
amazing position, views hypnotic, and straight down from the garden to the sand bar. the sound of the waves lapping at night, a few steps from a gorgeous and easy bushwalk
lovely firepit with wood supplied
soothing interior design
spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds
comfortable living and dining spaces, well appointed kitchen. i think they have got it just right in terms of the easygoing feeling for a holiday home.
only criticism was the shower drain in the ensuite had not been cleaned properly and one guest had to quickly resolve the blockage as water did not drain
think this was an oversight as opposed to bigger issue as spaces and soft furnishings, including bedlinen, towels etc were spotlessly clean, soft and lovely, of very high quality.
agent very easy to deal with, good communication, check in and out straightforward.
we had a great time.

We had a great stay at this property. Beautiful views and we loved the sound of the waves. There is beach access, but it is a little tricky - steep stairs and depends on the tide, but you can get there. So many birds! Parrots and cocatoos and kookaburras right off (or on!) the deck. Loved all of that. This is a remote property - you drive through national forest to get there. Closest grocery is 15 minutes and there are no restaurants so plan to cook. Grill is great.Possibly this is an Australian thing, so may not be unique - good to ask before you plan your meals - there were no extras at this house, no salt, sugar, oil. You need to buy/bring all that. There are no beach towels and few cleaning supplies. So just plan for that if you are flying in from overseas - just took us a little time to get settled but then it was great.Lovely house overall and very peaceful. Took the ferry to Cronulla where there is an excellent bookstore. Used the kayaks, fished, bird watched. Easy public transport to Sydney (we drove to Sutherland and caught the train - great system.
