I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sandbar house. The location and view was incredibly relaxing and peaceful, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. The design of the place was also stunning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and beautifully designed getaway!"
Gorgeous, clean home in such a stunning location. We had everything we needed and more - loved the kayaks and paddle board! Host was quick to respond and we really appreciated the flexibility on arrival/departure time. A truly spectacular stay in the heart of the national park. We’ll definitely be back!
We had a wonderful stay at Sandbar House. Incredibly peaceful location with beautiful views.
Anton was very accomodating and easy to communicate with, access to the kayaks were a highlight as was the bath overlooking the water to relax after a long day! Would happily stay again.
The Sandbar House was absolute perfection for a large group stay. Stunning location. Beautiful linen and comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, bath with a view! Appreciated the kayaks and boogie boards. Lack of parking and steps could be an issue for some.
We had a wonderful stay at the Sandbar House. Communication with the homeowner was excellent—they were incredibly responsive and even allowed us to have an Amazon package delivered before we arrived, which was much appreciated. The location is incredible, and the views overlooking the bay from the house are absolutely beautiful. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend more time at the house itself. There are so many fun things nearby to explore, but the home is also a perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. We would absolutely stay here again.
I am a physiotherapist from Sydney, married with 2 teenage children. I enjoy travelling and experiencing the best that the world has to offer. I am a keen skier, bike rider, adventurer, and lover of the arts. Maianbar is a special place and I am very keen for others to enjoy it as much as my family has.
Why they chose this property
One of the main reasons my wife and I purchased The Sandbar House is the incredible location with the Royal National Park to enjoy outdoor pursuits and serenity. We lead very busy lives in the city and enjoy the opportunity to escape the hustle of city life only 1 hour away.
