About this property

This modern home is situated in the most desirable area of Northwest Indiana. Located along the
shores of Lake Michigan and only 60 minutes to Chicago, you will find Shoreland Hills. The home is
situated on a beautiful lot with mature trees and landscaping, appropriately named the Dune Haus
as you truly feel you are part of the natural dune landscape when sitting in this house looking out at
the views.

You will have access to a private beach association at Stop 31, located just a few short
blocks from the home and within walking distance. You will find the beach to be both wide and
sandy with stunning sunset views of the skyline on a clear day. Take a evening stroll to Farina
Supper Club just a few blocks away for a absolutely fabulous meal after a day on the beach.

Conveniently located between Michigan City IN and New Buffalo MI. Take a short drive into New
Buffalo for some of the great dining experiences or drive a little further and visit wine country. A short
drive into Michigan City IN to visit the outlet mall and Blue Chip Casino. Also close by is the quaint
town of Three Oaks MI for vintage shopping and Journeyman Distillery or drive into Beverly Shores
IN and visit our National Lake Shore Park. If boating is in your plans, there are marinas close by in
both New Buffalo and Michigan City. So many opportunities for day trips and beach adventures await
you!
Parking for three cars in two separate parking areas.

The home itself is great for a family wishing to travel together with three bedrooms and plenty of
outdoor space to stretch out and enjoy an outdoor meal after a day spent in the sun. Enter on the
bottom floor to find two bedrooms both with outdoor space accessed through sliding glass doors and
a nice sized bathroom. Upstairs you will find an open concept living room, kitchen and dining space
that all feel very open to the outdoors with plentiful windows and access to outdoor living space. Also
upstairs is another nicely finished bathroom and an office that can be used for both getting a little
work done at the built in work space or as extra sleeping space with the comfortable queen size pull
out sleeper.

Perfect spot for a quick beach getaway

We had a great time staying at this home. Everything was well cleaned, thoughtful, and convenient to our location and needs. The beach is just a short walk through the neighborhood/development, with no issues of access and not overcrowded. The inside space of the home was a great place to land for relaxation after a full day of fun. We would definitely return here in the future!

Perfect get away

This property was perfect for our family. We could walk to a beautiful beach in under 10 minutes and when we weren't at the beach, the home accommodations were first rate. We had a full kitchen with all the needed cookware as well as a beautiful deck to enjoy cook outs and just relaxing in the woodsy setting. We don't typically stay at the same vrbo twice, figuring it's best to see different places. However, we may change our past practice and rebook at this place!

Great stay in wonderful location

Such a special and unique property, nestled in the trees and a few minutes to the beach. Manager was very friendly and communicative! Enjoyed this home so much-would stay here again!
