About this property

THE PENTHOUSE - Spectacular Ocean & Bay Views

Set within a beautiful coastal landscape, a stylish beach ambience has been created for a secluded weekend getaway or extended stay with family and friends.
On the Hill overlooking Shaws Bay, the views are serene with fresh ocean breezes generating an environment to relax, unwind or entertain.

All on one level so perfect for the entire family. We have a light and bright living space with ceiling to floor windows boasting spectacular 180 degree views.

The modern fully equipped kitchen with sleek stone bench tops and gold finishes is made to impress, including a barista style coffee machine, and soda stream.

The open plan living area has a large dining table which seats 8, or you may prefer the comfortable lounge to sit back and stream your favourite movie on the smart TV, free wifi is included in the price.

We have four bedrooms, one full bathroom, an en-suite and a laundry with an extra toilet.

Bedroom one: Master bedroom with queen bed, large en-suite with shower, toilet and double sinks.

Walk to Shaws Bay is 150m. The Shaws Bay Hotel and New Brighton Cafe is 270m. A little further down is Central Ballina with shops, cafes and restaurants.

Ballina Airport is only 8mins (6 km) drive away.
Lennox Head: 9mins (9.1 km)
Byron Bay: 28mins (29 km)

Your booking is for the whole Penthouse. Shortly before your arrival date you will be provided with details on how to access the property. Linen, bath towels, beach towels, picnic ware and starter amenities are provided and included in the price.

We welcome guests to book that are going to use the property respectfully. We have a strict no party policy at the Penthouse, which means no loud music day or night and at 10pm we ask you to move inside with no noise to the neighbours. We love our neighbours and want to look after them.

We do not allow Bux/Hen's parties or end of High School Getaways/Schoolies.

Excellent apartment.

Spent the weekend there with the family and had an excellent time. Communication and help was never far away. The house is nice and well equipped, but a pair of binoculars would be excellent to have for the whale watching.

Amazing views

This was a beautifully set up property with the most wonderful views and access to water. The 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms was great for a group of our size. Katya was a very communicative host and provided information to us as needed which was very reassuring.

A great place to stay in Ballina

We stayed for 5 nights at this property to spend Xmas with family in Ballina. The apartment is a delight, comfortably and stylishly furnished with magnificent views over Shaw’s Bay and out to the ocean. It is an easy walk down to Shaw’s Bay and a quick drive to a surf beach. Katya is a great host, communicating well and offering to provide recommendations for restaurants, etc. We had a lovely holiday here and would gladly return when next visiting the area.

The penthouse is beautiful, modern and roomy. We had five adults, a toddler and a baby and there was plenty of room. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The view is just amazing and it is visible from kitchen, dining and lounge rooms. Also room on the balcony for drinks and more view watching. Shaw’s Bay Hotel and a fish &chips, pizza etc shop are a short walk away. Near Ballina town centre with cafes, supermarkets, clothing and jewelry stores - very close by as well. Highly recommend a stay at The Penthouse Lazy Days on Shaws Bay.
