Positioned on the popular Fishpen in Merimbula, this architecturally designed and beautifully appointed apartment is ideal for your family holiday!

In a complex of only three, 'Rolling Waves 1' with its top of the range appliances and modern furnishings offers gorgeous accommodation and amenities and features private access to Merimbula's beautiful Main Beach! Being only a short level walk to the lake, corner shop, cafe's, playground and Merimbula town centre, this really does make for a family friendly holiday!

Rolling Waves 1 comprises 3 bedrooms (sleeping 6). Downstairs has two large bedrooms with bathroom including a bath and full laundry. Upstairs has a large open plan living with polished timber flooring, dining area and full kitchen with stone benchtops and dishwasher all opening out to a huge entertaining deck with sun lounges and outdoor dining setting perfect for relaxing and barbeques. Also upstairs is a third bedroom and bathroom. Reverse cycle air conditioning and TV, DVD & CD player.

There is a baby high chair and safety gate for the stairs if required and for your enjoyment boogie boards and a surfboard for your use. There is a 2 car remote controlled garage.

Rolling Waves 1 is a dog friendly house (no cats). We allow a maximum of 2 small dogs. They must be house trained, clean and well behaved. The townhouse has a fenced courtyard area connected to the laundry on the ground floor and a fully enclosed balcony to the first floor. We have a fully covered dog kennel in the courtyard, and a trampoline bed, to accommodate your pet. Dogs must not be left unattended for extended lengths of time, in either the house, on the balcony, or in the courtyard. Simple house rules, and respect for the property must be observed at all times. Guests must take full responsibility, including the cost of cleaning up after, or repairing any damage caused by your dogs.

This is our second stay at Rolling Waves. It has a great location next to Main Beach, it’s clean and well equipped. Both times we have stayed in winter and the balcony catches the warm winter sun for BBQ’s.

Pet friendly stay at Rolling Waves

Great location, well set up for pets, with a large deck and a courtyard. Plenty of space including use of a large garage. Cleaning should have been more thorough, just because we brought dogs does not mean we do not notice the dog hair from previous visits. We swept the floor and hosed down the deck before it was in acceptable state for us or our dogs. Otherwise the place was very nice.

Perfect Location-Beach a Stones Throw Away

We picked Rolling Waves due to its proximity to the beach as well as being dog friendly. The courtyard was completely paved with no hose to assist in keeping the area clean after our Boxer dog had relieved herself, her paws had to be cleaned each time as the pavers let things 'run' everywhere. Our stay was in late June and with only 2 tiny portable heaters and not all beds with electric blankets made for an icy stay downstairs, another split system downstairs would have made the stay much more pleasant, the split system upstairs really only worked in the upstairs area. Overall we did enjoy our stay, the upstairs balcony was huge and wonderful to sit out on when the sun was shining. The gate from the rear of the property took us immediately onto the beach and this was truely magical and definitely worth coming back for.

Beautiful unit, easy check in

The property had everything you might need and was very pleasant to stay in. There are two rooms with twin single beds in each plus another room with a queen size bed. We stayed in winter and the heating was great. Would be fabulous for summer too with a huge entertaining deck and bbq plus short walk straight onto the beach.

We luved our time in this property 2 minute walk to the beach, which is off leash dog beach, we had 2 small dogs with us. Easy walk into centre of town close, cafe and park closer. Good setup in house we had 6 adults and 2 dogs, fast wifi great facillities.

This property is in a fantastic location. The dog friendly beach is literally just behind the property. My family enjoyed many days on the beach swimming and walking. The property was very clean and comfortable. It has a beautifully balcony to unwind and enjoy a barbecue/ evening meal. This is the second time at this property for us and we would definitely come back again.

Excellent location, with access to the beach from the back yard, beautiful walk to Pambula and back.

Great location and access to the beach. Only a short walk into town. House is clean and tidy. Kitchen has most things for those who like to cook. We stayed at the start of spring and the house needed airing as smelled, especially the downstairs bedrooms. All the better for airing and heating. So much to see and do. Lots of great walks. We will be back!

Overall Rolling Waves 1 is great accommodation in a terrific location with easy access to the beach and walking distance into town. A couple of things would improve the overall rating. The towels are pretty thin, however we did have the washing machine so could wash them every day. The walls in the downstairs bedroom need cleaning of cobwebs (I didn't check the other rooms) and the hairdryer was absolutely useless. The WiFi was pretty ordinary, non-existent at times. A mat inside the front door would be a handy addition, as would some dvds or Netflix. But the beds were comfy and there was plenty of crockery, pots and pans etc. I know it is 'self catering' but a few things supplied wouldn't go astray - laundry detergent, cooking oil, salt and pepper filled up, tissues and maybe even tomato sauce??!! Having Gladwrap etc was fantastic. Just a thought.

Fantastic property!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Rolling Waves 1. Immacuately clean and well set out with very comfortable beds (we even took note of the brand of mattress for future reference!) We loved the huge verandah and used the Webber BBQ many times. All kitchen appliances were top of the line, and it was a real pleasure to stay here. The gate out the back with direct beach access was a real plus, our dog loved heading out to the beach for a walk every morning.

There is very few properties around our area that allow you direct private access to the beach!
Just 100m walk from the rear gate and you can feel the sand beneath your feet, which is fantastic especially if you are bringing your dog along with you. No wet, sandy dogs in the back of your car!
Rolling waves 1 is a quiet complex with only 3 apartments on the property, also located at the end of a dead end street.
At Rolling waves there is a small courtyard for your special pet friends to be locked away and secure, if you were heading out for dinner or lunch without them.
