This 2-story, three-bedroom, three-bathroom home boasts a private deck and backyard, 2 living rooms with smart TVs, beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms, and a washer and dryer. The property also has a small guest house with a cozy loft, skylights, and a sauna.

The beautiful hardwood throughout the home, paired with ample natural light and pine forest views, brings a feeling of rustic luxury. With timeless modern updates, stylish bathrooms, a large kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and tasteful décor, you’ll feel right at home during your stay!

Cook a satisfying meal in the fully stocked kitchen, or relax in the spacious backyard to watch for wildlife. Grill out on the deck, or grab a local brew and relish in the fresh mountain air while you catch a Colorado sunset. When you want to get out and adventure, the house is primely located to explore Fairplay, Breckenridge, and all the central Rockies region has to offer!

The Neighborhood:
Fairplay is located about 20 miles South of Breckenridge and is known as the “Trout Fishing Capital” of Colorado. It’s the perfect home base to explore the endless outdoor opportunities nearby. At almost 10,000 feet in elevation, the town is an adventure-lovers paradise throughout the year, especially in the winter.

Nearby world-class resorts, boarders and skiers can enjoy pristine backcountry and groomed resort trails. The warmer months bring spectacular wildflowers along mellow trails and challenging ascents. This is all close to historic Front Street, where dining, wine tasting, local art galleries, South Park City Museum, and shopping entice.

In the warmer months, enjoy hiking just minutes away at Pika Trailhead or Bear Creek Trail, both easy trails offering spectacular views. If you’re looking for a challenge, try your hand at a local 14er via Kite Lake Trailhead. If fishing is your thing, trout fishing along Fairplay’s 50-plus miles of pristine trout streams is a must!

In the winter, make your way to Breckenridge, just 35 minutes north. Considered by many to be one of the best ski resorts in Colorado, Breckenridge boasts 5 peaks, 2,908 skiable acres, 187 trails, four terrain parks, and the tallest chairlift in North America.

When you’re ready to fuel up after a day of adventure, there are plenty of options a short car ride away:
The Java Moose (4.7 miles away) - Bohemian café and deli offering light meals and take-outs delights.

South Park Brewing (5.1 miles away) - This chill pub with industrial accents features handcrafted beers on tap and a Mexican-focused menu.

Salado (4.5 miles away) - An intimate atmosphere where you can discover a menu full of twists on southwest cuisine.

Millonzi’s (4.5 miles away) - A laid-back eatery with Italian mains, pasta plates, and a bar area.

Breckenridge is a quaint mountain town with a lot of character, we recommend a day trip there during your visit. Breckenridge is filled with history, a lively arts and culture scene, and great shopping and dining. Take a stroll down the historic main street, with over 300 shops and restaurants, or stop by a museum or one of the town’s signature events held throughout the year.

Getting Around:
Mountain living and exploring requires you to get around by car. We recommend an AWD or 4WD for mountain driving and snow tires or chains during winter. CO-9 North will take you through Alma and to Breckenridge. CO-9 South to US-24 East will take you to Colorado Springs. US-285 East will bring you to Denver. If you want to explore further, US-285 S and I-70 W will bring you deeper into the Rockies to visit towns like Buena Vista, Vail, Beaver Creek, and more.

The property is about a 2-hour drive from Denver International Airport (DIA) and Colorado Springs Airport (COS). Renting a car or utilizing a shuttle service for transportation to the home is available at both airports.
