This log cabin sleeps 6. There are 3 king-size beds with luxe mattresses/linens, and a 'loft bed' for kids. MBR has sliding glass doors to a balcony, beautiful ceiling architecture with a ceiling fan, a private bath, a desk, and a reading nook with a recliner. The kitchen has a microwave and glass top range. There is a full-size, refrigerator with an ice maker. It is fully equipped including almost any small appliance you would need. We provide most essentials for your stay. The four 6ft X 6ft windows and glass French doors in the main living area make you feel like you're sitting out in the aspens and pines surrounding the cabin. The leather and chenille couch sits 6-8. Fire up the wood-burning stove and watch for deer to nestle in at dusk on the 2-acre lot.

Great Place

We loved our stay. The house is as advertised. The layout was great for our group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We also appreciate that it was pet friendly. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful home, well-equipped and comfortable. We had everything we needed and would stay again! Bring an eye mask if you sleep in the master bedroom in the loft - the sun comes up early and there are tons of windows - but it’s all beautiful. It felt like a luxury stay in the mountains.

Beautiful Cabin

We came back for a second stay at the cabin because we love it so much! We brought my parents and children and they all were comfortable and relaxed. Everything we needed was provided and we felt at home. It was a short drive to our hiking trailheads and not far from Breckenridge. We hope to stay again soon!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin and property were beautiful and well maintained. I felt like we were staying at my family’s house. It was warm and inviting and well stocked with everything we could have needed. We will be visiting again!

Beautiful

This property is hands down what you want to book! From the ease of check-ins to the property itself, this is one of my favorite cabin vacations. Located perfectly for various trails and just being away from the sounds of the city. Has Tons of space with just a short drive to the surrounding towns. Absolutely would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

This is our second stay and it was a great one! There are a lot of great cabins in Colorado but this one has fishing ponds and trails without getting into a car. The grocery store is so close and well stocked, you would never think you are in a remote area. The house is very clean.

Great house in gated warm springs

This is our second time staying at this house. Tara provided a lot of things that you don't find at other house. The kitchen has lots of appliances and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and private location

Great cabin with lots of privacy. We have stayed in lots of rentals and this place was top notch in every way. Great kitchen that was nicely stocked with quality cooking gear. Our boy loved the play scape in the yard and stocked fishing ponds. Owner Was really nice and helpful as well, great place!

Beautiful cabin surrounded by aspens

Family of 6 with 2 senior dogs and it was perfect sized for all of us. Cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked for anything you needed. We brought 5 ATVs with us and road in a couple areas - 4 mile rec area in Buena Vista was our favorite. Got to see a moose family right outside the windows of the cabin the one day. Thanks for sharing with us.

Family Thanksgiving Holiday

We had a wonderful time at the property. It was very well equipped with all items we needed! Rooms were very large and the living/dining area was perfect for our family of 6 adults and one child. The surrounding area was pretty and the sun rises were beautiful. We did a few hikes and visited the brewery, winery and distillery in Fairplay which were great. Would highly recommend this venue.

Family Getaway

We celebrated my mom’s birthday by staying in this cabin for 3 nights. It was my grandparent’s first time in Colorado, they loved it! Originally, I was only going to book 2 nights but the coziness in the cabin photos encouraged me to book 3 nights. I am SO glad I did.

A wonderful vacation at a Luxurious Log Cabin

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated cabin that was well maintained and well stocked with anything you might need. It was warm and cozy like a "home away from home" and a perfect place to spend time relaxing and visiting with my sister and brother-in-law who also joined us. We enjoyed our jeep rides in the mountains and day trips to Breckenridge, Vail and other stops. The cabin is in a great central location in Colorado and we would definitely recommend it to our family & friends!!

A little piece of heaven!

Tara's vacation home was just what we were looking for. Other than groceries we had everything we needed in a wonderful, peaceful setting. We literally stayed at the cabin the entire 5 days, with the exception on one run into town the first day to get milk and eggs. And it was even better since we were able to bring our pups. All in all, it was a wonderful respite from a chaotic world. We will definitely try to return again!

Great place in a beautiful spot

We found Tara's lovely home when looking for a quick weekend getaway for ourselves and our senior dog. Communication was top-notch all along the way, and the listing info/photos were accurate. We loved sitting on the porch amid the aspens when the weather was on our side, and enjoying the great views from the ample windows inside when it got chilly. Great spot for a quiet time away, yet still close to Fairplay for groceries, restaurants, shops (we loved the Soup Pot and the distillery in particular). Also close to Breck, BV and Salida for day trips, though we didn't have the time on this trip to venture too far. We'd love to come back sometime soon.

Picture Perfect Cabin

The cabin is even nicer in person. It is surrounded by Aspen trees as you can see in the pictures. The big windows and A-frame of the cabin really is nice to be able to enjoy the views of the trees, especially waking up in the morning from the master bedroom you can see the trees from the main windows. The kids loved the "pirate ship" outside and loved playing with the logs. The small details in the cabin are so beautiful. The whole cabin is really well-stocked with whatever you might need. One of the kids forgot their toothbrush and we found a brand new one. Although, we brought all of our own condiments and cooking ingredients, the kitchen was very well-stocked with things like, sugar, flower, rice, spices, oils and lots of other things. We really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could've stayed longer.

The cabin was extremely cozy and comfortable! We timed it perfectly with the aspen leaves and it was incredibly beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms were all very comfy. Great fireplace and enclosed back deck that our dog liked hanging out on. My husband loved fishing in the nearby ponds. Hope to visit again and for longer!

Lovely clean cabin nestled in the trees. A few cool extra amenities, fishing ponds and even a pickleball court in the community. The wildlife was amazing! Mama moose and her baby were hanging outside the cabin. Beautiful birds, antelope and we even saw a giant heard of elk.

We had an awesome time at this cabin and enjoyed every relaxing minute we were there, as did our dog…..thanks for being pet friendly. The ponds were a great bonus which my husband really enjoyed. Tara was a great host and always available. We would definitely recommend her cabin.
