Welcome to Ridgeview Reverie, a relaxing mountain retreat in the heart of the Rockies. Easy access in only minutes to Pike National Forest, Jeep trails, fishing, and the historic and charming mountain towns of Alma and Fairplay. Plus, just 35 minutes from world-class skiing and shopping in Breckenridge. Mountain life, mountain views and wildlife surround you in this completely remodeled modern cabin. Relax in the mountains, and unwind in the newly added hot tub, just 1 hr 45 min from Denver!
Feel free to enjoy the entire cabin inside and out! We have large decks for stargazing, mountain viewing and wildlife observing. You may also use the fire columns on the upper deck, but be sure to follow instructions in the guestbook at the house. We also have some lovely seating areas around the property. There is plenty of parking, so bring your trailer with your toys— Great area for ATV, jeep and snow machine trails!
You have access to the entire house, with the exception of the garage. You may also use the laundry equipment in the utility room on the lower level, but please do not touch any other equipment in this room unless specific instructions are provided in the guestbook at the house

This beautiful and quiet mountain community is near the towns of Fairplay and Alma. Also just a short drive to Buena Vista, Leadville and Breckenridge. Anything you want to do in the Rocky Mountains, you can do it in this area! Hiking, mountain biking, fishing, skiing, shopping, hot springs, horseback riding, snowshoeing, ATV trails, jeep trails... The list goes on!
Any vehicle should be fine on these county-maintained roads May through October. If visiting in the winter for ski season, you will need a four-wheel-drive vehicle for snowy days up the mountain.
There will be a guestbook with additional instructions for specific features of the house and more information about the area. Please take a look at the guestbook upon arrival and reach out with any questions. The guestbook can be found on the coffee table in the upstairs living room.
Dogs allowed with prior notice and $85 pet fee per stay (up to 2 dogs). Please message host with details to secure permission.

Safety precautions for a mountain property: NO OPEN FIRES OUTSIDE (propane equipment outside and woodstoves inside are fine (wood not provided). Do not leave any food or trash outside as it may attract bears. Also due to wildlife, Do not leave doors open or unlocked when away from the property. As we are in drought conditions, do your best to conserve water. Respect the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after 10:00pm. Be mindful, respectful and careful of wildlife at all times (do not feed or approach).
Please take off wet or muddy footwear before entering the house. No smoking in the house.
