Family Reunion 🍁🍂
This home is Awsome. Cozy, Very much like home. Something for everyone. We loved the big Family style dining room table. To gather, look at old pictures and share family stories and memories. It brought us together. Conveniently located in the hills of Berkshire and close to family. Without a doubt we would stay here again.
Have stayed before and will stay again. Make it easy. Clean place. Everything you need.

We were a party of nine. This property was advertised as accommodating nine people. Safety – 1) No keyless entry. The owner met us, but did not provide us with a way to lock the house. We took our valuables every time we left. 2) My daughter found mouse droppings on her bed. 3) No lamp shades. Just bare light bulbs. The table lamp in one of the bedrooms had a short in the cord. 4) The stairway to the second floor is narrow, steep and shallow, certainly not safe enough for several of our party who are 70. 5) The plumbing is exposed in upstairs bathroom. 6) Multiple tripping hazards as you walk between rooms. 7) No GFCI outlet in the upstairs bathroom. Kitchen – There was a random collection of cups, glasses and utensils in the drawers, but not enough for nine people. One paring knife, a couple of plastic spatulas, and a box of random old pots and pans. I spoke to the owner. She ran to the Dollar Store and bought us more utensils, a pot, a frying pan, and a cheap knife set. The Keurig wouldn’t work reliably. So I purchased a coffee maker and left it at the property. Large dining room table, but only six straight chairs throughout the house. The rest of us sat on stools during meals. General – We discovered the towels in the first-floor bathroom, still damp. We dried them. The dryer door was held closed by red duct tape. No outside trash receptacle. All the pillows are old and worn out.
Our party of 8 (ages 12 - 50 yrs) had a great time here. There is a lot of space for everyone to spread out and gather together. We had fun taking photos with the barn in the background and walking around the property. The property was rather large and it was pretty quiet, with the occasional vehicle passing by. Everyone had a great time.
Only key thing missing would be a large pasta pot, but we travel with an instant pot - so no trouble for us.
One of our kids was moving in to Cornell, so this was a lot more convenient then paying for several hotel rooms with limited amenities and space.
We also made out way over to the King Nature Preserve for a short hike (about 3 min by car).
Would definitely stay here again.
