Relax with tranquil nature views

Setup for nature views of the valley (and a glimpse of the lake), this house is very practical for a relaxing getaway to soak in the hot springs and enjoy the nice golf course. With an elevated deck, open living areas and comfortable beds, we loved our stay.

Lovely spot with a lovely view…

We spent 9 days happily enjoying Metung and all it had to offer. Our host was communicative and was happy to suggest outings in the area. The house was lovely with beautiful sundown views off the deck. We will happily return to this spot.

Quaint little home on the hill, just outside of Metung township. Beautiful views of countryside from the back deck with a glimpse of the bay. Home is well set up for holiday makers or business travellers. All of the essentials to get you set up for a lovely stay. Host is friendly and communication was clear. We really enjoyed our stay & hope to be back soon

Amazing location

We stayed at the property for our annual group trip and loved the layout of the house. The outdoor area and bbq was great and everything was clearly laid out and easy to use (the fireplace was even made ready for us). The location was great, only 15 minutes out of Lakes Entrance and 4 minutes out of Metung itself. The quality of the house really bad our trip more enjoyable and we had some great times there. Thanks Greg for all of your help and reliability, looking forward to staying again soon!

Quiet and welcoming

A beautiful rural view with birdsong. The house was just lovely and had everything we could possibly need. Love the quirky shower and the tech security was easy to use and no key necessary! Greg was excellent to deal with, he was friendly and helpful. A perfect spot from which to enjoy Metung!

My 50th birthday getaway with 4 friends.

Nice property with lovely big back deck & rural views. Views & photos are accurate to the accommodation advertisement. It is a cosy home, with a nice big kitchen. Felt peaceful & I was sad to leave. Would definitely recommend this property. The owner was quick to respond & was very accommodating. I would come again. Love Metung!!!

Not family friendly

Booked it for 4 nights. Says its a 3 minute walk to the water. Its a steep hill, with no footpath, so quite dangerous for anyone, and definitely not doable with young children. The fridge freezer was unclean and dirty when we arrived. The stairs are extremely steep, not suitable for young children, or older people. There is no gate blocking the porch from the stairs. Not as advertised. Ended up leaving after 2 nights. Not a great experience at all!!! Not kid friendly, or family friendly.

Thank you for your feedback Yocheved. The property is as per the pictures supplied highlighting that there is no gate. At no point did you ask any questions about the property prior or after the booking before arrival for any clarification. We have had over 50 families stay at the property with small kids/infants and more than 30 groups of guests which are aged 50 to 80 years old over the last 20 months and no one has mentioned that the property is not kid or family friendly. You booked a whole 3 bedroom house for $129 per night which is the best value in Metung. As for the fridge, I personally cleaned it the morning before your arrival as we stayed there for a couple of nights ourselves making sure the fridge/freezer was cleaned personally. We actually have 2 small children and our elderly mother stay with us when we go to Metung and all of us walk to the Metung cafe every morning along the boardwalk and have no issues with the walk. Maybe next time you should do a little more research before booking a property.

Metung stay

Metung is a great place to explore with everything you need including a great pub that serves great food and is in an amazing Location and is well served with great cafes and bakery,hot springs and an amazing 9 hole golf course. What makes even better is if you book your stay at this great house. Greg was so easy to deal with check in ( although I need to read the instructions better lol ) and made the process super easy. Unfortunately I was here for 2 weeks for work so didn’t quite get a chance to explore everything at your doorstep but what did make it great was coming back to this great property and being able to relax like it was home. The property has a beautiful view from the back deck to relax and enjoy and the home itself has everything you need to make your stay here a memorable one. Great beds and linen provided and with a bunk room for the kids and 2 queen beds everyone is catered for. Everything is an easy walk to the village and also you have some great walking tracks close by to which I’ll be checking out next time. Look forward to booking here again but next time it’ll be for leisure. Thanks again Greg.
