The Space:
The Meadows Tiny House is a charming farm stay located in the quiet town of Macclesfield, VIC—just 10 minutes from Emerald and close to Olinda, Sassafras, Gembrook, Yarra Glen, and Warburton.
The ideal Dandenong Ranges accommodation, located near Bam Bam Italian, the Australian Rainbow Trout Farm, SkyHigh Mount Dandenong, Silvan Reservoir, and Yarra Valley wineries and restaurants. Expect to see local wildlife such as kookaburras, wombats, kangaroos, and even the occasional echidna.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Built on the principles of regenerative agriculture and sustainable living, the property is powered by off-grid solar energy and sustained by captured rainwater.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the tiny home and designated walking tracks. Please do not feed animals or enter paddocks or yards without the host’s permission.

- Keep in mind that there is an electric fence in operation
- Please be advised that we have livestock (and noise) on our property
- CAUTION: Keep an eye out for snakes as the property is located in bushland/grassland areas
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Off-Grid Guidelines
- A wall-mounted fan and a portable air conditioner are available for use during daylight hours.
- Guests are encouraged to bring portable power banks, charge devices in advance, and conserve energy to avoid running out of electricity.
Important note:
- No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
