Our home is designed for you! The Cda hotels are fine, but you will never experience the historic, peaceful neighborhood that is known as Fort Grounds in any of the commercial properties. We continue to perfect our home for the couple, golfing buddies, gals with pals and families that desire a unique experience. Bring your wine, your recipes, your book, your stresses. You will be transformed. One day on our front porch can do that. Have you ever driven through a neighborhood and wondered how does it feel to live here? This is your chance to know the amazing vibe of Coeur d'Alene.

Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea on the covered porch and prepare for a day at the lake. There are only seven homes between you and city beach. Our downtown and world class Cda Resort is all within walking distance.

The 'City Beach Brownstone' is located in the sought after 'Fort Grounds' neighborhood. Hardwood floors are throughout the home on both levels. This well-appointed home includes lovely linens, jetted soaking tub, granite counters, original clawfoot tub, uncluttered rooms, large front porch, propane gas grill, and two levels to spread out.

This tranquil neighborhood is close to North Idaho College summer plays and an easy walk to the Castle Play Structure in the city park.
The famous Coeur d'Alene golf course with its island green is nearby as well as Tubbs Hill, parasailing, great restaurants, art galleries, and shopping.

The main floor bedroom has a king bed, while the two bedrooms upstairs have one king bed and a queen bed. All beds have fresh, new linens.

The house was immaculate and had plenty of space for us to spread out. The kitchen had lots of items if you wanted to prep food, as well as a large and single cup coffee maker. There were plenty of towels as well as a washer in case you needed to wash clothes.

We loved the location, the street was so charming, the home was adorable and had most everything we needed. I really enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the mornings while drinking my coffee and reading. The host was very personable and responsive! It fit our family and my mother in law perfectly. Beautiful home, great location

We loved our stay at this property. It’s just that we couldn’t get the tv to work and the two upstairs rooms were stifling hot. The windows were difficult to open and the air conditioner in the first bedroom didn’t work properly.

Great location for CDA

We love coming here for a weekend in CDA. Beach, resort, shops, parks are all walkable and everything else in town is a short drive away. Beautiful neighborhood and charming home

Terrific location and property. So easy to walk into town! Dan and Brett were excellent hosts....we had a Wi-Fi issue on our 1st night and they resolved it immediately the next day.

Fabulous location!

We loved this VRBO in Coeur d'Alene. Such a great neighbourhood and close walk to the lake and downtown area. The upstairs was quite hot and needs better AC but the main floor had better AC. Dan was easy to reach and prompt in responding to our questions. Overall, a great stay.

Great Location

The location is top notch, for our family the size of the house worked very well, the front deck was a great place to have morning coffee. It was 100° on our first night, very warm in the upstairs, but not much can be done about that kind of temperature. I would recommend.

Great Location Older House

This house is in prime location from the lake, downtown, and parks! It’s on a quiet street and has a great front porch. It is on the older side 1905 I believe so it does have some rather steep stairs (hard with toddlers) and it was pretty hot upstairs, however I believe we were there during a heat wave. It has everything you need for your stay and Dan is easy to communicate with.

Perfect spot, in a beautiful home

My recent VRBO rental in Coeur d'Alene was nothing short of perfect. The location was ideal, just a short walk from downtown and the beach. The home itself was spacious, comfortable and had everything my family needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well-equipped kitchen and relaxing on the front porch. The owner was friendly and accommodating, making for an easy and stress-free rental experience. Overall, I highly recommend this VRBO rental for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient home away from home in Coeur d'Alene.

Needs Repair

The location of this property is fantastic! Walking distance to the beach and park! The neighborhood is lovely. Lots of older homes that have been remodeled. This home was very clean and the communication was awesome. However, this home needs a lot of work. I wish I could add pictures. Several unsightly items inside (whomever did the remodel needs to be fired), the yard is a mess and the front porch was very dirty (we cleaned it as best we could) and the table and chairs all need repair. The porch is disappointing as that is the sweetest spot in the house. Also the upstairs was very warm for sleeping. They did have portable room coolers, but didn't help much. Some of the window couldn't be opened since they still had storm windows on them and not screens. I don't usually complain, but I rely on other peoples reviews in making my decision on what to rent so felt I needed to be really honest. We rent VRBO's all over the world.

Misleading House Details

Host was pleasant to speak to but inattentive to the resolving the misleading details presented in the description. He did not send us check in instructions so we had to call when we arrived. Listing states it can sleep 8 but it only sleeps 6 and the host confirmed the hide-a-bed in the living room was removed a few years ago. Upper bedroom ceiling looked as though it was about to collapse as there was cracking, sagging and a hole showing rafters. Advertises a fireplace but does not disclose you have to provide the wood. Lastly, to unlock the deadbolts of the front and back doors from the inside a key was needed which is a safety hazard to exit in an emergency. House was charming and the issues could have been resolved rather easily with a little more effort.
