We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Loved living among the animals, the host was very kind to our children. A great central spot for exploring some hiking at nearby Alligator Gorge.

We had a lovely nights sleep and we loved the goats looking through the window. A rustic accommodation that lends itself to the experience of the outback and is very central to the Flinders Ranges, Port Augusta and Jamestown area. We didnt feel tired after our trip because we could take our time looking around and knew it was a reasonably short trip back to our accommodation. Lovely people and very friendly.

The inside of the unit was immaculately clean ( you will need to watch for goat poo outside, but that was part of the fun). The house is well equipped and surprisingly quiet with all the animals outside. It was lovely to be able to go outside and watch the night sky with no light pollution, and it was a treat to pat the goats. If you don't like goats you're probably staying in the wrong place, but honestly you could avoid them if you wanted.

A unique experience!! The house was very clean inside, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Katherine was a great host. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent quiet country retreat

A great find in a super quiet and relaxing location. Thoughtful little touches from a lovely host, and it was a delight to interact with the goats and other farm animals on the property.

Great little stop over

Looking for a while to break up the drive coming back from Arkaroola and what a surprising find this was.Kids adored all the animals and played with the goats for as long as they could before dark.

Enjoyable stay

It was a really good stay after a long day travelling from Coober Pedy. The kids all loved the animals and couldn’t wait to help Katherine feed them in the morning. The kids want to come back and check on the kids (baby goats). Would highly recommend

Goats, goats, goats

Wonderful stay with at the retreat farm stay. Awesome to wander around the yard with all the farm animals in particular the wonderful goats. Spacious, well equiped accommodation. If you love goats then this is the place to stay.
