Very nice property with lake access, fire pit and fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of space to relax, grill some burgers and enjoy a couple of beers under the stars.
The cabin is very cozy, kitchen equipped, it was clean and ready for us. The view is amazing, a lot of tree and very close to the lake. Follow their guidance and go with a 4x4 during the winter, the road is not snow cleaned. We loved our stay and for sure will come back during the summer! Thank you Jolene and Chuck!
Wonderful stay. The Juniper cabin was set upon a small hill apart from the rest of the cabins . Very private with its own dock. Clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Will definitely book again.
Best host ever! Jolene helped us out when our car got stuck in the snow and she dropped us off to the car in the morning too. She walked in heavy snow to save us! The house was perfect and she was always very responsive. Thanks for letting us stay in your cottage and wish you, your family and your business the best in this new year!
Lovely host, beautiful place! Was too cold to use the hot tub (it’s wood-fired, not electric) and we didn’t realize “bedding” included blankets, so be advised if you go on a frigid weekend that you may be spending more time indoors than planned and will need to bring things to keep warm/busy. Listing also says “fireplace” but none inside. Extremely clean and everything works, well-equipped kitchen and easy to check in/out. We will be back in summer for sure :)

About the host
Hosted by Jolene Van Lange
We are a family that believes in the power of community. After years of working in our local communities and having the privilege of working with, for and side by side with others - we realized how nature grounds us and brings us back to connection with ourselves and with our family.
Many years ago, I began to dream about how my family could get the beauty of community intertwined with nature for the purpose of reconnection, growth and inspiration. The vision became reality after we landed at North Frontenac Lodge.
Today, I have the privilege, along with my three daughters, of sharing North Frontenac Lodge with the amazing community we are creating.
Our dear friend Chuck supports our family with the Lodge, and one of us will support you during your stay. We are inspired by our guests who share their journeys and stories with us. Our ultimate desire is to help support the expectations of every guest who joins us at North Frontenac Lodge.
We hope to provide experiences that support our guests as they relax, rediscover and rejuvenate. It is our honour to connect community and nature- and we are grateful for the gift of every guest that enters our community and learns with us!
Why they chose this property
North Frontenac Lodge is a true Canadiana experience. The lodge was a former fishing lodge built in the 1940s. The Juniper Cabin is a new addition to the property - but it still holds the spirit of the lodge - cozy, simple and serene.
The Lodge was originally built upon a peninsula, so today, there is water on both sides of the property.
North Frontenac Lodge is shared with five cabins on the <3 acre property. The front bay is a sandy beach with a gradual incline into the water. The back bay, which is just steps outside of Juniper's door, is a 30ft drop off of the dock into crystal clear water.
The Lodge has canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and a pedal boat available to all of our guests with your stay.
Come experience the untouched beauty of North Frontenac Lodge - and experience Mosque Lake, which is 90% undeveloped.
