THE LOCATION:
The Sampson Haven sits on Sampson Street, a short walk from the heritage gates of Cook Park — one of Orange's most loved green spaces, with duck ponds, an aviary,
seasonal gardens, and shaded walking paths. The Orange CBD is a short stroll along Summer Street, putting the city's best cafes, restaurants, bars, and boutiques within easy reach on foot.
Start the morning at Academy Coffee Roasters on Woodward Street (350m), or take a short stroll to Anything Grows on Summer Street (600m) for coffee among the blooms.
Prim & Platter is nearby for grazing boards, and Lucetta Dining and Byng Street Local Store are both a comfortable walk into the CBD. Head 10 minutes out of town to Swinging Bridge Wines for a paired canapé tasting or five-course degustation, or explore Philip Shaw Wines for cool-climate drops from one of the region's most established estates.
The Duntryleague Golf Course is a 6-minute drive, the Orange Aquatic Centre and Adventure Playground cater well for families, and Mount Canobolas offers hiking trails with views across the region. The Orange Farmers' Market runs on the second
Saturday of each month.

Property was very nice - clean and warm. We did enjoy our stay, catching up with family at Borenore and meeting our newly born great grandson. The only suggestion we have is that it would be nice to be able to speak to a person (host?}and not do everything on line.

So happy with this 2 bedroom house. Suited us perfectly in size and facilities. Clean, well organised and in a lovely part of Orange. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back when in the area again.
The house was exactly as described. Very clean with all amenities. A beautiful tree lined street close to gorgeous Cooks park and easy walk into the centre of Orange. Perfect base for exploring the wineries with easy access to city centre. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautifully furnished property. But some shortcomings in that there were few instructions for access to garage or appliances.
Some windows were difficult to open, and the gas cooktop didnt work.
Just needs a good check before letting ,otherwise a very lovely stay.
Great location.Small things missing. No welcome booklet, wifi password etc. Very limited provisions, for example 1 tea towel, no powder for the washing machine, pots and pans need to be replaced.Also had a problem with ants in the property, although they did leave bug spray??
