Great Vacation
We loved staying at this property and would go here again. The house is right on the lake about a mile and a half down a dirt/rock road. You can fish or take out some of the kayaks on the water. We saw deer and tons of wildlife. The owner was extremely nice and they helped make our stay great.
My family and I enjoyed this location to stay. It is a bit out in the middle of nowhere, but that was okay with us. If you are looking for a quiet, calm, and relaxing vacation- this is the place for you!
My husband and I enjoyed our Christmas getaway in the Cozy Cabin. It was really clean and actually cozy! It was cold and rainy so we didn’t do anything outdoors but it would be perfect in warmer weather. Very nice property.
Quiet house with beautiful surroundings. The canoe and playground were great for my young children, age 7 & 6. We loved fishing from the canoe and exploring the lake. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we couldn’t get the dishwasher or the hair dryer to work. Great Lake house otherwise!
It's a little dusty getting to the cabin due to the gravel road leading to the property, but the cabin is worth the dust. The view of the lake was serene and private, the house was tastefully decorated and inviting. The decks, the fire pit area, and the playground were all attractive and accessible. We had a refreshing weekend and the cozy cabin was just the spot!!
Great spot for a weekend getaway. The property was nice with a lovely view of the lake. We wish the weather would have been warmer so we could have used the kayaks. The road coming into the property is a dirt road, but didn't give us any issues. All in all, we would recommend staying in this lake house.

The home was very clean with a stocked kitchen and had extra amenities that we really enjoyed. We all enjoyed the kayaks and canoe and having the extra life jackets and floaties were very appreciated. There is also a playground area for younger kids that I'm sure would get enjoyed! It was a pretty quite area while we were there which made it more relaxing for us as since we were getting away from all the hussle and bussel of life. We also enjoyed filling up the bird feeders and watching the wildlife from the porch. We had a great time!
The property was just as described. Cute, quiet and plenty of space to relax outside and enjoy the views! The kitchen was stocked with basics to cook dinners each evening. Outdoor grills came with charcoal and wood for burning. The negative was the beds were super uncomfortable and ours squeaked with every small move we made. Also the shower curtain in the bathroom was pink on the bottom from mildew as it dragged on the shower floor, probably never dried and there is no exhaust fan. Other than that the house was cute and comfortable. AC worked well and we loved all the outdoor seating. We are a family of 6 and it fit comfortably
This property is lovely, and the proximity to the lake cant be beat! The rooms are nice, and there were plenty of rooms for all 5 of us. The kitchen has many tools for cooking, but it was lacking sharp cutting tools. The kitchen table and couch have beautiful views of the lake. My favorite spot in the mornings was on the deck, in a comfortabke chair under the porch fans, enjoying the gentle breeze. The lower deck is wonderful too with comfy furniture and the fire pit. The canoes and kayaks were a nice offering, and we enjoyed hopping in them and exploring the surrounding coves. The playground was fun for the younger child, and the wildlife watching was wonderful. My only complaints from this wonderful cozy cabin experience? The bathroom, being only one for five of us, was a bit tough, and while plenty of towels were generously offered, the bathroom felt old and grimy. I washed the shower curtain because it was slimy with orange residue. Overall, the stay was comfortable and memorable. We appreciate the thoughtful accomodations.

Water quality concerns
This is the first time I have given a property this low of a rating, but I felt I should so future guests are prepared. The property was clean and charming and the beds slept wonderfully but water quality was an issue. The property is on well water and the sulpher smell was so strong that we smelled of it after showers and could not drink or cook with it. I reached out to the property manager and he explained that this is common for wells in the area. He did assure us that it was safe to drink and cook with. We also have well water and this is not normal at this level. Im hoping they will work to correct the issue for future guests.
