Lovely suite in a great area

The suite is like a large hotel room with one bedroom and sofa futon. It's nicely quiet and next to a beautiful park with great walking trails. The hosts are wonderfully attendant without being intrusive. A good experience for my family.

A great place to stay

This home is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood next door to a large green space/park with loads of walking trails and a great playground for children. There is quick access to shopping, groceries, gas, etc in a matter of minutes. Overall, it’s about a 30-45 min drive to Vancouver sights and 15 min to access to the Tri-Cities, Surrey, Langley, etc. The home itself is beautifully maintained. The suite feels very roomy and is provided with generous amenities. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. The pricing is also decently reasonable. This is my second stay with this host and I would book with them again.

Pros and Cons

It was great to be close to Mundy Park. I was a bit disappointed that there was no information to get an extra pillow case, blanket etc. It seemed clean and well taken care of. We appreciate help when we could not figure out how the TV worked. The owner was helpful. My main concern was the noise of the fan in the washroom. There was a strong oil smell in the washroom. I was not sure what it was and did not appreciate that noise from a fan we could not turn off. It would have been nice to be able to park in the driveway. No info on whether we could use the back yard. Not sure if we would stay at this place again.

We have come to realization that you cannot make everyone happy and also how many people don’t read what they are booking. I would like to address the concern that you have raised so that everyone who is reading this has full picture. 1. Information on extra bedding and towels is part of welcome message sent out to every guests. 2. Fan running continuously in bathroom is building code requirement in our jurisdiction and there is not much we can do about it. 3. And things like parking are specified in the listing as street parking, so to expect something different is not reasonable. Thanks for your stay with us.

Beautiful vacation at Mundy Park

We had a nice time for two weeks in this vacation rental in Coquitlam. I was there with my girlfriend and my 8 year old daughter. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some meals ourselves. There was also a fridge with freezer. The living room was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing evenings after a long day of adventures. Our daughter slept on the sofa bed and found it very comfortable. The large bed in a separate room was also very comfortable and let us sleep well. The location of the apartment is unbeatable for families. There is a large park right next door with a playground and a baseball field, which our daughter especially loved. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, ideal for families. We had easy access to nearby shopping and restaurants. The public transportation connections were also very good for getting around. There was plenty of free parking available for the car we rented. The friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts deserves special mention. They were always available to answer our questions. They have lived in the area for a long time and know their way around. We felt at home and can recommend this apartment without reservation. We would love to come back!
