Great Getaway

We had a great vacation in Gatlinburg. The cabin is very cozy. The road to the cabin was well paved, but narrow with deep drop offs. It took some getting used to for us driving those to/from the cabin. We had a small problem with a chair needing maintenance when we got there. The owner was very nice and responsive. She had someone out right away to fix it.The Kids loved the winding staircase and the Pac-Man game. The bunkbeds were a huge hit, and everyone had a TV in their room. Overall, we were very happy with our cabin.

Great place to stay

The cabin was clean and ready for our arrival. Great setting for family bonding with several things to do at the home or within a short distance to downtown. Large rooms and enough space for the seven of us.

Perfect Getaway

This property was beautiful and perfect for our family and dog. Plenty of beds, lots to do, and nestled on a gorgeous mountainside. Plus, it was just a short drive from all the entertainment in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Communications with the host were lovely, and she provided a thoughtful overview of the house and the area. Absolutely recommend!

Wonderful Property

We loved the house, the views all the property. Plenty of space and fun activities and relaxing areas for a whole family. We would definitely stay here and rent this house again. The host was so wonderful. The perfect family vacation in a perfect spot. The rental company was also accommodating easy to work with no hassles let you know and plenty of time about check-in checkouts procedures totally recommend this house.

Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg

We took our two college daughters to Gatlinburg to help them unwind for Thanksgiving. The owner, Lynda, stayed in touch with us before we arrived and was ready to respond if we needed anything. The cabin home is beautiful and was very comfortable. The pool table was fun and we liked the spiral stairs to downstairs. This was the perfect place for us to stay for our Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg.

Long weekend get away

We live by the beach and mountains is a treat for our family. This was a great spot. We saw bears basically daily on our stay. Little ones were extatic to have such experience. The place is spacious and clean. Everything you need is available, towels for the hot tub, 3 showers, nice kitchen, and great relaxing porch! This was one of the best places we have stayed in. The owner is very responsive and prompt. White water rafting about an hour away and 30 min to zip lines. Everyone had great time, our doggies did as well - enjoyed the time on the Smokey mountain hike!

Family trip

First trip in Gatlinburg where we stayed in the mountains in a cabin. The experience was amazing! Our host was great and very prompt, we couldn’t find the street and she kindly and quickly prompted us on where to go. The cabin was very spacious and perfect for our family of 6 and two dogs. I will be back!

“Beary” wonderful stay

This house was perfect for our family! The house was clean and very easy to check in to. We saw bears every day we were there, including a mama bear and her 3 adorable cubs. We went into town each day and wore ourselves out with some of the numerous activities that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer. We also enjoyed the hot tub at the house and the community pool and game area. The house was stocked with plenty of cooking utensils so we could stay in if we wanted. I would definitely love to come back in the fall to see what the area looks like with the changing leaves!

We had a blast and saw so many bears

We stayed here for a week Friday to Friday . Our stay was wonderful! Plenty of space for our family of 6 and our small dog. We loved the location of the house , we saw bears every day!! The home is close to everything! Minutes from Ober Gatlinburg and downtown Gatlinburg, less than a half hour from Dollywood and the island . The only things that we would suggest is the home to have a full size broom and a dust pan to sweep up the floors , the vacuum supplied did not work well at all and the broom was tiny , maybe a cleaning spray for the kitchen and bathroom for upkeep or spills, and a heads up that there was only one garbage bag . This home as wonderful as it was supplied alot less necessities than other vacation homes we have stayed at. I did text the owner a few times and she was very quick to respond! We would definitely stay here again though !!

A great way to experience Gatlinburg

We had a great time and had everything we needed in the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and we used the chalet village pool, which was super nice on a hot 100 degree day. But by far, our favorite part of our trip was the bears. Heed the warnings… no food in cars and lock your doors every time because they WILL open doors and hop in your car….. or on top of it. But you can observe their curiosity from the 2nd story deck and get an up close view of them. I wouldn’t recommend letting small children run in the yard or small dogs but if you want to experience Tennessee and the wildlife of the Great Smoky Mountains up close with the convenience of being minutes from the action of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this is a great place to stay. The mountain roads are not for the faint at heart, but taking it slow, it was manageable. I would recommend and would stay here again.

Wonderful place in the mountains!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Gatlinburg. We wanted something that was somewhat remote and immersed in nature, and boy did we get it! The communication with the owner was top-notch! Within 15 minutes of arriving, she reached out to check on us and ensure we had everything we needed. And during the week, when we had questions or needs, she was very quick to respond (within 5 mins). The space was perfect for our family of 4 - roomy and clean. Our kids (ages 9 and 12) loved the spiral staircase to the downstairs room, which had it's own set of bunkbeds, a TV and arcade game! They also loved the pool table and hot tub, which they used nightly. My husband and I found the place to be very clean. The property is so peaceful and we loved watching the black bears (safely) from our deck. The owner is accurate in saying the roads to the property are narrow and windy, but it was completely doable. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Don't hesitate to book this!

Labor Day Vacation

Drove 8 hours from Virginia. First impression was lasting…reached out to see if we could check-in early and the owner, Lynda, contacted me minutes later. She allowed us to check-in early which was wonderful. The cabin is beautiful! Nice size rooms, comfortable beds Andrea the pool table and jacuzzi/hot tub made the ending of the day relaxing. Lynda checked on us via text several times throughout the stay just to make certain all was going well. She is extremely accommodating and helps off at all possible. WELL WORTH THE TRIP! We’ll be back!!!

Gatlinburg you ROCK!

Gatlinburg Tennessee you didn’t disappoint! We enjoyed hiking, white water rafting, ziplining, horseback riding and ATV’s. The views were stunning and we had more bear sightings than I could have ever imagined. We had a momma and 3 cubs in our yard daily and it was amazing to watch them from the deck and the hot tub. After long days in town we enjoyed the drive up the windy roads leading to the house and all the privacy it offers. As a family of 6 we all loved the layout and the basement was perfect! Everyone slept comfortably in their own spaces and the beds were great. We ate dinners in most nights and the kitchen and grill made it super easy. My favorite part of every family vacation is hearing what everyone loved most and the clear winner was rafting. Can’t wait to do that again! We would absolutely return to this home and the owner was easy to communicate with when we had any questions and very accommodating.

Mountain stay

Nice home very high up windy Ski Mountain rd. Lots of positives from location to hot tub to multiple bathrooms! Bear weren’t just in the area but navigating the property multiple times daily, even unseen as we found fresh scat every day. If you have dogs, taking them out becomes difficult due to the high bear activity. While home had been cleaned, there so many dead bugs upon arrival and countless live found daily. We could tell they had sprayed and attempted to handle it. There were plenty of bathrooms but note, they are very small. Kids will LOVE the spiral staircase. If you have all adults like us, the staircase make you feel like a giant. Host company was quick to communicate but having to handle communication outside the VRBO app made it harder to handle all the emails and notes coming from multiple sources. This was different from other VRBO experiences we’ve had. Would recommend this house if you’re okay with minimal driving and staying at the cabin for an extended period. Try yummy Ski Mountain pizza and pay for delivery.

A wonderfully relaxing stay

This property is beautiful, well kept, and has at least one very special amenity. The hot tub, fireplace, deck, full kitchen, pool table, and PacMan arcade game were all fantastic, but the sauna is what made this place special. Our stay was quiet, deeply relaxing, and away from the hub-bub of Gatlinburg proper, although all that was minutes away if we wanted it. The mattress on the bed was soft and supportive. There were many options for types of pillows and blankets that we could suit ourselves and our comfort. It was nice to have a full kitchen and a washer/dryer, too. This property is up a steep and winding road, but the pavement is new, and the way is well-marked. Google Maps got us right there with no difficulty, no matter which approach we were coming in on. The property is convenient to the usual attractions but especially to the parks, which is where we spent a lot of our time during the day. I loved having my coffee on the deck as the sun came up. Gracie, my Great Pyrenees, loved the place and we walked all over the yard and the up and down the street. There were plenty of board games for evenings. My husband and I played Yahtzee, just like we did on our honeymoon nearly 43 years ago. The owner was very responsive and her communications were quite helpful. She really loves the place, inspiring us to take extra special care of it ourselves. We highly recommend this property and plan to come back.
