Very lovely home, lots of space and great bedrooms. The backyard is the best and upstairs screened in area with beautiful views. We fed the deer in the yard they were so comfortable. No problems or issues during our stay. We would return back.

Very clean lovely home with nice amenities. We enjoyed our stay, only small issue was the air conditioning on the main floor wasn’t working properly & it was pretty warm especially at night to sleep in master bedroom.

The house was just like home. Very inviting and relaxing. My only concern is the master bath. There was no railings to hang on to when entering the tub. We all enjoyed our stay.

Hi Liza!
We're glad to hear the property was very cozy and comforting for you! We hope to host you again!
Great stay just wish response time was quicker with host
Place was amazing, family had an amazing time. Place had enough room for family and close to the lake. We use hot tub and it shut off on its own and couldn't get it to turn back on. So message host to get it fix but response time took a little longer then i would like. We wanted to use hot tub second night and we couldn't. Overall stay was great

Just OK
The property overall was OK. It was a pretty area, but we literally had to unclog the bathtub upstairs. The house looked like it had not been really cleaned in a long time. I would pick a different place to stay next time I’m down there.

Great location and backyard
The pictures on the website are very flattering. In reality, we loved the backyard very much. Not much of the lake itself can be seen, it’s more to the right of the property.
The grill was not working. We called in for help, someone showed up the next day to change the propane tank, however, that was not the end. We still couldn’t light up the grill. The house inside could have used more cleaning. Sounds like either the cleaning crew isn’t that great, or they aren’t paid properly. Communication with the property manager was mediocre. One email every 24 hours.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience during your recent stay at our property. It's disheartening to learn that your visit was not up to the standards we strive to provide. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered, including the grill breaking and cleanliness concerns. We did promptly replace the propane tank as that is our first way to troubleshoot if a grill is having trouble. Since that did not solve it, we have since been working with the homeowner to repair the grill. I apologize the grill broke during your stay but we are working on fixing it for future guests. Your cleanliness concerns were brought to the attention of our housekeeping team so ensure small things are not missed again. Our housekeepers take pictures during their clean so we can ensure all the proper cleaning steps were taken. We take your feedback seriously.

Nice but they need a new cleaning service!
The location was ok, but the place was dirty. If they are paying a service to clean the place after guests arrive, then the owners should at least make an inspection a few times a month, or every so often if they don't live close by to ensure the next guests are getting what they paid for. The dishwasher was full of mold, so we didn't even use it and instead hand washed everything. The floors/stairs were dirty both inside and out. There was a mason jar glass left on the outside table which was covered in so much dirt you could write your name on it. Someone's old used bandaid was left on he floor outside underneath the dirty glass table. The draw strings to the blinds in the bedroom were broken. There were fallen trees in the backyard that needed to be removed. I mean, it was ok and things that we could have lived with, but when I have to pay such a huge cleaning fee and all the rest of the fees that go along with renting an VRBO, I expect a little nicer place. If they invest in another cleaning service, it would be nice, but there isn't really a lot to do around the property. The hot tub was clean and nice though.
