My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Misty Haven Farm! The animals were very therapeutic as they were fun to watch and very friendly! The charcoal barbecue was a great touch and the trailer was very comfortable! Ian and his family were inviting and the property has lots to offer for someone looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

Wonderful farm! Lovely hosts! Big garden and cute goats. Really enjoyed the farm while still feeling private. On demand hot water was fabulous My dog and i really enjoyed ourselves. Very peaceful.

The relaxing surroundings of the farm animals and the mountain in view was wonderful. The weather during my stay probably helped! You can certainly hear Hwy 1 over yonder, but it didn’t bother me. The RV is a little older, but everything works and it’s clean. The mattress was comfortable enough, the sheets felt lovely, I slept well. My mid sized dog was very curious about the occasionally roaming goats. We tried hard to respect them and they kept at a distance, the deck has a small gate at the stairs to give everyone an boundary line. Ian is a very responsive host. I would recommend if you are looking for a place in the area you check it out.

My crew arrived here after a 55 mile day of bikepacking and were so grateful to be warmly received by Li and her daughter, who welcomed us with love. Ian even drove out to the highway to make sure one of our slower bikers was safe! They were very caring, and even let us collect and purchase fresh eggs. The view was gorgeous and the goats were very sociable. Unfortunately, the space itself had a consistent propane smell, and although Ian tried to fix it, the smell persisted. The RV also doesn't seem to be firmly fixed to the ground, so anytime someone rolled over in bed the whole structure would rock back and forth, causing the cabinets to rattle and waking everyone up. We were also woken up by the host at 7:45am, who thought he'd left his keys. As you can imagine, we were exhausted after a day of biking, so having our sleep disturbed was a real bummer. Overall we enjoyed the beautiful environment and were grateful to stay there.

Peaceful Getaway

Really enjoyed staying at Misty Haven Farm. Sitting on the deck in the evening watching the natural world and the roster with his clutch of hens grazing amid the rabbits, listening to the birds...a wonderful place to rest, relax and regroup with caring hosts.

My children and I loved our stay at Misty Haven! The property is beautiful and the host is very kind. The animals are very sweet and the garden and orchard are plentiful! We would definitely go back!

Lovely private getaway

The camper was very comfortable as was the bed. It was very clean and private. The view from the porch is beautiful. The owners are friendly and helpful. It is easy to get around the island from this location and a convenient ferry trip to visit Gabriola island for a day.

This was exactly what we needed while staying in this area!!! It was quiet and quaint and pet friendly! The farm has goats (mini), chickens , and apples and berries. Alittle bit out of the city. Just enough!!! The hosts were friendly and left us to ourselves. We were there for a rather stressful situation but this place was a mind and stress realever . We rally enjoyed our time there

The RV is as pictured and very clean! The farm is lovely and the deck is great. Our kids loved visiting the goats and chickens. We didn’t interact with the host very much but wandered around the property on our own. It was great to have use of the laundry! A couple little touches would really elevate the stay, for example a more user friendly BBQ, and maybe a few kitchen staples (byo coffee!). Overall we were satisfied with our stay and would recommend!
