Perfect weather and cabin for a weekend getaway. We had a great time fishing and enjoying the views of Lake Poinsett. The host was great to work with and very responsive. The AC and wifi stopped working, and she graciously offered to stop by after we couldn't get it to work. We felt bad afterward as it was such simple fix. It was very much appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Lake Poinsett cabin

Brittany is AMAZING!! Cabin was so cute and clean!! She has the place completely furnished!! There is a dock that was available for us to put our boat. May flies were in full swing but thankfully they don’t bite, just more of a little annoyance. But the view more than made up for it!! Will definitely stay again when we are back! Price point is also fantastic!!

Our stay was Fantastic! Easy check-in and check-out. Brittany and her husband have made the cabin beautiful. They have made sure to have everything you need provided at the home. We will definitely be staying here again when we are at the lake again!! Only downfall were the mayflies which we were warned about.. lol they don’t bite, just an inconvenience which was totally overlooked. We even had the option to tie our boat up to the dock which is right out back!!

It’s not every day you come across people who are this kind, flexible, and genuinely thoughtful, we felt really cared for during our stay. You can always tell when someone takes real pride in their space, and that was definitely the case here. Every corner of the home felt thoughtfully put together, cozy, clean, and incredibly inviting.
