Such a warm, cozy, welcoming bolthole in the best location in Tasmania. Generously appointed with everything a family would need for a comfy holiday. Very grateful for the stocked fridge, woodpile, bathrooms and spot-on local advice. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Our family had a lovely stay in this cottage. It's in a great part of town, close to markets, restaurants and cafes. The house was very well appointed and communication with Elle was always quick and very friendly. We'd love to come back one day.
Perfectly situated in battery point close to restaurants, pubs and bakeries. Walking distance to Salamanca, sandy point and city. Well equipped kitchen and delicious welcome fruit, cheese and chocolate platter. Loved our stay
Most beautiful house with everything you need at your fingertips . Best location we walked everywhere , thanks for having us we will be back again and also recommend to our friends .
Great location in a centrally located , historic , beautiful suburb of Hobart. The welcome tray of fruit, chocolates ,cheese and wine were very much appreciated. It was a warm and welcoming start to a wonderful holiday. The house was well stocked and accommodated us very comfortably. Just love Battery Point and the restaurants and shops. Thank you ,
From the minute I contacted Elle, she could not do more to help. She went as far as purchasing a travel cot for us to use for our stay. We were greeted by a beautiful fruit platter and other little goodies. Everything is so well stocked; laundry powder, toiletries, condiments, zip-lock bags etc. For that, we were very grateful. Would love to have some history of the original part of the home displayed/available for interests sake. So conveniently located at the end of the street about 100m walk is the most delicious patisserie; Jackman and McRoss.Compared to other places we’ve stayed in the area, you’re definitely paying for the location. Not sure the price truly reflects what you get for your money. It was cozy but wasn’t as luxurious as the price reflected and the photos portrayed. The beds were quite hard especially on the second night. The main bedroom requires some maintenance; the ensuite door doesn’t shut properly and main light globe in the ensuite must be blown- doesn’t work. Also the door into the main bedroom is hard to close/open and makes a big ‘clunk’ which is not ideal when there are babies asleep in the room.
