The Space

Sleeping: King-size bed and a Full-size bed in bedroom, Pull out sofa in living room. Perfect for families.

Convenience: Basic equipped kitchen, free high-speed WiFi, A/C and a huge bonus for Waikiki: Free parking for one vehicle.

Comfort: All linens and towels provided. Laundry is app-operated washers/dryers on every floor. A coffee shop on the lobby level and seasonal snack bar on 6th floor.

Resort Amenities: Large swimming pool and sun-bathing lounges, BBQ area with tables for outdoor dining, Tennis and basketball courts.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Our 6th floor rec deck is currently under renovation and is scheduled to re open on May 4, 2026. Please check with us for updates. Pool, jacuzzi, BBQ and lounge areas are not accessible at this time. Sauna and adjacent showers are already operational.

Not quite what we expected....

We have stayed at many suites at the Banyan over the past 11 years but this one is one we won't return to. There was not a single cooking pot in the kitchen, no facecloths and the wifi didn't work the entire 5 days (which is also how you would watch TV). Not that we spend our time watching TV but before bed being able to use wifi or watch something is just something small that was lacking. The kitchen is definitely a bit run down and without any pots it's pretty useless for cooking in.....it wouldn't take much to bring this unit up to the standard we have experienced in other units.

Great location about 2 blocks from the beach.

Best thing about this VRBO is the location. Close to the beach but bargain price because it's not on the beach. Great views of the ocean and Diamondhead. Sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodate four adults. Parking is included which saves money and is very convenient. The drapes need attention. They don't close to cover the entirety of the windows which is an issue if you are a light-sensitive sleeper. The bathroom sink area is open to the bedroom which means you can't turn on the light or make noise in that area without potentially waking up the others. Pros outweigh the cons. Overall great value.
